TEMPERMENT: Like her mother Azusa, Kei has an odd perspective on reality, and rarely, if ever, sees things the way they really are. Other than that, however, the two are polar opposites. Due to her traumatic upbringing, Kei absolutely hates anything cute, feminine, or French. In order to distance herself from these things, she dresses up and acts like a man. She doesn't see herself as a man, and never claims to be one, but everyone around her has a funny way of making assumptions, and it never comes up.

Even though she acts like a man, she has no romantic interest in women whatsoever. Instead, she is attracted to the most macho guys in her school. This has lead to a rumor or two spreading around about the way she ignores the affections of cute girls and blushes a bit when talking to cute guys. Other than this, she is generally mean spirited, and will go out of her way to be mean to cute girls and less than manly men, taking pride in causing them to suffer, or to cry.

BRIEF HISTORY: Kei's childhood experience could best be described as torture. Her conception was essentially an accident, brought about by one of Tsubasa's ill-fated schemes to win over Ukyou, and Azusa seeing pictures of cute babies in a store window, and asking the clerk of the store (which unfortunately turned out to be a sperm bank) how she too could get one of the cute babies. With her short attention span, Azusa forgot about the whole thing completely until she gave birth to her daughter. Although she had no idea what was happening to her, when it was over with, she had found another cute thing, which she named "Jolie."

No one thought the child was actually Azusa's, figuring that she stole the baby from a hospital somewhere, and they did nothing to stop the young girl from raising her daughter, knowing how protective Azusa was of her things. As a result, the young girl was forced to wear cute clothes, and was nearly squeezed to death on a daily basis by her overly affectionate mother. She was always carried around like a toy by Azusa, and never allowed anywhere on her own, until she started school.

Once in school, the young Jolie was exposed to people who lived very differently from herself. She saw that they did not have to wear cute pink clothes, and were treated well by their parents, and wanted to live like that. She began to hang around with the boys in her school, the ones who wore no pink whatsoever, and started copying what they did and how they dressed, which came surprisingly easy to her. Although the boys didn't like her at first, since she was a girl, she quickly proved herself with the strength she'd gained from years of surviving Azusa's Death Grip(tm).

As she grew older, and moved on to Kolkhoz High School, Azusa had less control over her daughter, who now called herself (and had managed to get everyone else to call her) "Kei." Kei had been skating most of her life, and joined the famous Kolkhoz Martial Arts Figure Skating team when she was of age. She quickly became the school's star "male" skater, and the coach, Mikado Sanzenin, trained her personally. Having no idea what the young Kei was capable of, he introduced her to the sealed away "Forbidden" style of Figure Skating Martial Arts, which he had only recently discovered himself. Using these strengthened moves, Kei has become an undefeated star of High School Figure Skating competitions, even with female partners who don't have anywhere near the skill that she herself possesses.

MAIN GOAL: To remove as much cuteness as she can from the world, and to discover the most powerful sealed techniques of the Forbidden School of Figure Skating Martial Arts.
