TEMPERMENT: Kinda insecure about dealing with people, so tends falls back on being polite and respectful. Tries to be helpful to others, giving his assistance when asked or as he perceives that it is needed. Ryuka takes after his mother and his personality is sorta inbetween her adult(serious) and child(reckless and happy) mentalities, shifting between toward either most of the time(usually child). Has had an unusual childhood, being raised by a father thats odd and a mother who looks(and acts) younger than he is. He has a strong sense of right and wrong, which he tries to follow. He resents those who are bullying or unhonorable, though that wont necessarily prevent him from helping those people if they need it, and will try to defend and help the recipients of their actions(especially children).

BRIEF HISTORY: About a few years after Ryuka's birth, the family doctor found an anomaly in his mother's aura. It seemed to be dark taint of some sort that was slowly spreading and messing with Hinako's special metabolism. The doctor couldn't seem to cleanse or contain it. It seems she got it from draining an unknown assailent who attacked them, but got away during a family trip to the mountains. Concerned for his wife's health, Ryuka's father immediately called his friend Doctor Tofu. Unfortunately, Tofu was only able to contain the taint by sealing Hinako in her child form, thereby making her unable to become adult again without risking it spreading. Feeling sorry that he was unable to help more, Tofu gave the Ninomya family a list of the many masters in the healing arts that he and his colleagues knew about around the world.

So began their journey to visit these masters to see if any of them could help. Since Ryuka was only about 4 his parents didn't want to be seperated with him, so he was given a training journey to come with them(with Hinako giving him home schooling whenhe was old enough). Because there was no longer any As he grew, Ryuka realised what the trip was really for and became determined to help his mother, asking the various masters to teach him anything they could to aid him toward. By this way he gained alot of information, getting to keep some books and copies of ancient medical scrolls. He just can't put alot of it to use, what with his medical knowledge coming from many different doctors/masters and not having enough time to study more than a few weeks, maybe months, with them. Seeing as how he wasn't getting very far in his goal, Ryuka started to correspond with Doctor Tofu through letters and asking him his questions. After more travel, Hinako decided that it was time that her son attended school and got to meet more people that were near his age. So while she and her husband continued their journey, Ryuka was sent to Doctor Tofu who has accepted him as an apprentice.

MAIN GOAL: To aid in finding a way to cure his mother. To accomplish this, he is learning how to apply what he already knows from Doctor Tofu and the studying periodic updates that he receives from his parents.
