TEMPERMENT: Ryuuma got most of the good AND the bad points of his parents. He's strong, determined and smart. He's also polite and gentle (most of times, at least). However, he's somewhat too proud and, although it's not easy to anger him, he has a few sore spots. He can also be a sly cheater sometimes, if he has to, but he hates doing that kind of things.

He also doesn't like to pick fights without a good reason. This bugs his father a lot because he wants Ryuuma to fight people to prove the strength and superiority of his school on the others. But the boy won't fight just to prove anything to anyone.

In summary, Ryuuma's generally a nice guy, until you step on his toes...

BRIEF HISTORY: Ryuuma Kumon grew up raising pigs in his mother's farm and training with his father. The hard farm work combined with the intense training made him quite an effective martial artist. Oh, yes, of course he studied also, in the schools of nearby towns.

He was trained by his father so he could do what Ryuu didn't: build a name for the Kumon school (Ryuu gave up on that when he married, since he had a family to care about). Ryuu teached Ryuuma almost everything he knows, except the forbidden Yamaseken - his father promised to never use it again. HOWEVER, Ryuuma found a few of Ryuu's old, lost journals, where he got hints of the Yamasenken training and learned most of the moves by himself. For coincidence, he never used it in front of Ryuu, and his parents don't know he mastered the technique. Mainly because he only uses it in emergencies... And he's rarely been in emergencies before.

Past year, when he was 15, Ryuuma won a Martial Arts tournament and conquered for his family the reputation his father always dreamed of. After that, Ryuu decided to move with his family to the place where the best martial artists he knew lived: Nerima. He plans to see his son outstand the amazing martial artists there and prove his to be the best martial arts school. He doesn't know his plan has a huge flaw: Ryuuma won't cooperate.

In his short stay around Nerima, Ryuuma already got a debt with Lotion (for destroying a big part of the Nekohanten), got engaged to Ryoko (Ryuu's fault - Ryuuma doesn't know about it yet) and started training in a new version of the Nekoken - because he didn't win any of the (few) fights he got into in Nerima.

MAIN GOAL: Right now all Ryuuma wants to do is to have fun and maybe a normal life for a change. He also wants to be an actor, just like his idols Jackie Chan and Jet Lee. However, he acknowledges his duties as Ryuu's firstborn and will maintain the honor of his family school and new dojo whenever necessary.
