TEMPERAMENT: : At first sight, she's a lot like her mother, Mariko. She seems perpetually cheerful and somewhat ditzy, and will often break into a cheer for little or no reason. However, there is some brains behind this blonde, and she knows how to use them to help her win any battle.

BRIEF HISTORY: Yumiko's mother met Kotaru Yoto during her college years at a school Kendo tourney. As usual, Mariko immediately became infatuated with the hansome young Kendoist, and cheered for him enthusiastically, helping him win the tournament. Kotaru somehow managed to keep the eye of the flighty Mariko, and they were engaged several months later.
Yumiko was raised by both of her parents, and trained extensively by her mother in the Cheerleading Arts. She was also trained to some extent in the more practical Kendo Arts later on.

MAIN GOAL: Mariko told her daughter of her experience with Tatewaki Kuno, and Yumiko is now in Nerima seeking out the Kuno family to meet them for herself..... and to see if they have any sons.....
