This is the new Tenchi series. Tenchi decides to go to Tokyo to train to be his grandfather's successor as a shrine master. He also attends a college there and that is where he meets a classmate named Sakuya who becomes his new girlfriend. When Ayeka and Ryoko find out about this they are not happy. Also to help everyone out so that they can see Tenchi, Washu invents an inter-dimensional tunnel. There is a new villain who has mysterious plans for Tenchi and Sakuya. One thing about this series is that it does have a good plot and story line, but compared to the other series, the animation is not that great. Also with this series, it is like another universe because the origin of how they all meet and of how Tenchi's sword is, is totally different. |
