Both the Shoshu and SGI have had
 the Ongi Kuden translated, yet
 neither have published their version.

Burton Watson  translated the SGI version, and a team of translators did the Shoshu Version. Putting aside, that this work isconsidered a forgery, could the content of this work(Lectures heard by Nikko) be holding up its release. Take a look:

"[The object of worship of this devotion] are the Person and
the Dharma. [Devotion to] the Person means devoting one's
life to Sakyamuni Buddha...." (STN 3:2605-6)

"Now Nichiren and his followers are King Ajatashatru,
because we take up the sword of Namu- myoho-renge-kyo and
slay our mother, who is attachment, and our father, who is
delusion, and attain the Buddha's body like Lord Sakyamuni
  Buddha..." (STN 3:2608)

"The meaning of the "Fathoming the Lifespan" chapter lies in
the Buddha's actual attainment of enlightenment in the
remotest past (kuon jitsujo). .." (STN 3:2666)

"This excellent good medicine I now leave here. You should
take it and drink it and not fear that you will not be
cured.  In the final dharma age, it means Namu Myoho Renge
Kyo, I means Sakyamuni..." (STN 3:2666)

There are hundreds of references in this so-called record of
oral teachings, where Nikko records Nichiren as saying the
  Buddha is Lord Sakyamuni.
