Sailor Gloam

"I command the dead who prey upon the living!"

Character Name(s): Simone Latrelle / Sailor Gloam

Good or Evil: Evil

Age / Birthday: 16 / August 10

Physical Appearance: tall; lithe; curvy; leggy; fine, soft white hair with a blue streak on the left side, shoulder-length; silver eyes; pale complexion; cruel profile.

Personality: cold; intelligent; clever; reserved; shy

History: Simone was born and raised in the present Moon Kingdom. She was the third daughter of a stiff, overbearing family and made the runt of the litter. Her two older, stronger, and more-loved sisters would take to using her as an outlet for all their negative feelings. Simone also was ostracized in school. As a result, she has become a fierce cynic and pessimist. Without friends, Simone passed the time by reading, which she enjoyed immensely. Simone stumbled across the dark arts and various sects for black magicks, which she found absolutely fascinating and soon began to eagerly practice. One day, she decided to test her skills and summoned Azazrael, known to be a powerful demoness to all in the Kingdom. The Maiden of Misery took a liking to the miserable girl and offered her a deal: servitude to Darkness in exchange for heightened powers and strengths. Simone accepted, becoming a sort of faux pas Soldier of Darkness, Sailor Gloam. She constructed her weapon, the wand Grimsong, from the bones of her first victims (including her sisters), and served as a scout and assassin for the Order of Azazrael. She was slain by the Soldiers of Light during one of the many skirmishes at the Lunar Palace. Gloam's corpse was recovered by the Order and Azazrael revived her. The girl returned as a lich, and is now more powerful than ever.

Strengths: Very courageous and opportunistic; skilled at persuasion and intimidation. Gloam is also immune to all forms of poison or acid, and can survive in toxic atmospheres for any amount of time. Because she is undead, she has no breath, and can travel underwater for extended periods of time as well.

Weaknesses: Extremely sensitive; also has a phobia of life, and insists on residing in graveyards or other places of the dead. She has since become a sort of pet to The Flayer, as both symbolize death and unliving.

Hobbies: Researching her powers; loitering in graveyards; writing grimoire poetry

Favorite Color: gray

Likes / Dislikes: Cold; wind; cloudy skies; silence / Sunny weather; optimists; joyous people

Weapon (if one): Grimsong (wand made of human bone)

Attacks:

Bone Prison
Gloam summons a spirit wall of bone in the form of an enclosing ring. This prison traps all enemies within its circumference. Imprisoned within a cage of bone, the captives are held helpless until they can summon the strength to break through its skeletal confines or when Gloam loses her hold over the spirits.

Terror
This curse causes its victim to hallucinate, conjuring their greatest fear in corporeal form before their eyes. They believe the apparitions are real and run from them as long as the curse affects them.

Bone Wall
This spell enables Gloam to call upon the remnants of the spirits of all the creatures who have died in the area. It accumulates their fossilized remains and summons forth from the ground a barrier of dense, fossilized bone. This spell is an effective method for keeping adversaries from reaching Gloam, while allowing her to attack from range or make an escape.

Weaken
This bane allows Gloam to sap the strength of her enemy. Enemies are enfeebled to the point that their blows become highly ineffective.

Fuku (outfit description): white bodysuit; black bows and skirt; gray tiara with socketed skull, jackboots, and elbow-length gloves with gold trim.
