11/04/00 - First anniversary of Ami's Little Library!

It's been just about a year since I first uploaded this site to Geocities. Wow!! I can't believe how much this site has grown since then! It seems like it's been up so much longer than a year.

On the left I've put up a picture of the original layout of Ami's Little Library. (Really small, isn't it?) My first version didn't even have a WinAmp skins section. Only character info, images, multimedia, and links were planned out as sections for the page. It grew a lot more since then. ^_^

Well, take a look around the site! I hope you enjoy it!

11/03/00 - Added two new WinAmp skins this week. They are both in a new section in the Neon Genesis Evangelion WinAmp skins section for other characters from the show. I have added a Kaji Amp which I made in March of this year from a request I received from Taryn. And I've also added a more recent Kaoru WinAmp skin entitled Crimson Eyes, and this title was suggested by Taryn.

10/21/00 - Ami's Favorites section in the WinAmp Skins Exhibit has been finally updated, although it does not yet include my favorites from the Card Captor Sakura section. There aren't that many in the Sakura section yet, though, so it's okay.

10/20/00 - It seems that I will only have time once in a while to update this site. But I will try my best! Anyway, here's a new WinAmp skin that I've recently made. It's called Aluminum Siren - Planet Mermaid, and you can find it in the Sailor Moon - Other Characters Section. It comes with a playlist that is the same as most other playlists that come with my WinAmp skins, so I didn't show it in the picture. I personally really like this WinAmp skin of Aluminum Siren, and had forgotten about it until recently. However, I can't remember where I found the picture from. If I have accidentally used your picture, please e-mail me about it.

Oh, and two webpages were given awards, as well. *** Only Pics *** was awarded the Impressive Image Gallery Award, and On Angel's Wings was awarded the Good Start Award. There are links to these pages in the Award Winners section.

09/14/00 - I really tried to find the time to put together the HTML for these WinAmp skins that I've finished, but I've just been too busy. I'm leaving for college tomorrow, so it will be a couple of weeks before my computer will be set up and everything at college. So I won't be able to update the page for a while. I don't know how much time I will have to update this page once I'm at college, although the internet connection will be much faster. ^_^ I'll have to see how things work out. For the first month or so, I will probably just end up updating the music page Tomoyo's Music For Thought. That's why I wanted to set up the page a little early. Once I have access to a faster internet connection, that page will be the easiest to update. So, my apologies for not yet uploading the new WinAmp skins; I have several requested WinAmp skins completed, including a nice Aluminum Siren WinAmp skin, so I'll try to put them up as soon as I can. Sorry!

08/19/00 - I'm finally back! I think that I have fixed all of the links in Ami's Little Library, so all WinAmp skins should now be accessible for download! Yay!! I've also added one new Michiru WinAmp skin entitled Melody of the Ocean. Enjoy!

Right now, I'm in the process of finishing up some WinAmp skins, so I hope to have an update in a week or so with new WinAmp skins available for download. I'm a little backlogged with requests right now, so I'm trying to catch up.

And now for more news... I have a new website - Tomoyo's Music For Thought!!! It has been getting too confusing to handle e-mail messages about WinAmp skins and requests for mp3s through the same e-mail account and website. 06/14/00 - An important notice!! - Since I am out of school from the summer, I unfortunately have no internet access from home, meaning that I cannot update this webpage for a long space of time, and I may only be able to infrequently check my e-mail. But I'll keep working on WinAmp skins over the summer!

05/23/00 - Finally, an update after so long!! As I mentioned before, I apologize for the lack of updates in the last month and a half or so. It was, however, unavoidable, as I was too busy with studying for AP exams and finals. I'm just about done though at this point.

I've made a few updates; I've reuploaded some of the WinAmp skins that were on the homepages.go.com server. For the ones that are not uploaded, it says that the WinAmp skin is not available. I have to go look for some more webspace, so it may be a little while before I get the others back up. E-mail me if there is a particular WinAmp skin you would like for which the link is currently unavailable.

It was completely unintentional to have these more depressing WinAmp skins. And check out the In Progress WinAmp skins to see what WinAmp skins are currently in the works, and suggest some titles.

04/28/00 - Watashitachi ni Naritakute, sung by Fujitani Miwako, is now available in the MP3s section of the page.

04/17/00 - There is a new section in the Interactive Center called Luna's Corner, dedicated to my second favorite character in the show. This corner features poems for now, and will also probably feature essays, and maybe fanfictions in the future. So go and take a look, and submit your own writing. I will say right up front that I will absolutely not accept any hentai, so don't bother submitting if you have that kind of writing. Also, coming up in May, I will probably add a new section called Hotaru's Downloads to the Interactive Center with some additional downloads for your computer. Keep an eye out for that.

For now, I did reupload some of the WinAmp skins to homepages.go.com, so most of them work. If you want a particular WinAmp skin for which the link does not work right now, then e-mail me, telling me the WinAmp skin you want, and I will e-mail it to you for now. I will still post mp3s for now, so you can e-mail requests.

Sorry for the delay in updating, but I'm afraid that I am going to have to stop updating for a while because this webpage is taking up too much time, and I HAVE TO STUDY FOR THE AP EXAMS IN MAY. Once my AP exams are over I will get back to posting and updating stuff on the webpage. I have a bunch of stuff that is ready to post, but it will have to wait until May. And I apologize to the person who was kind enough to send in an EVA skin, which I will have to post later as well, but I will try to post it sooner if possible.

04/06/00 - WinAmp skins with targets at http://homepages.go.com/ are currently offline. I will try to have these WinAmp skins back up in a couple of days. Several more sites have been given awards in the Awards section of the page.

I hope to have a few more WinAmp skins up in a couple of days as well. I'm going to be slowing down with the WinAmp skin publishing right now because I have AP tests to study for, and I would like to look in to creating buttons and bars for the equalizer and main sections of the WinAmp skin, and this will probably take a bit of time. 03/28/00 - Many new changes to Ami's Little Library! I've given a new look to the front page, the multimedia page, the WinAmp skins main page, and the Sailor Moon WinAmp skins main page. In the WinAmp skins exhibit, two new sections have been added: a Card Captor Sakura section, and a section for WinAmp skins by other authors.

There are six new Card Captor Sakura WinAmp skins, and five Card Captor Sakura skins that I made a while ago. The WinAmp skin shown on the right is Riding the Wind, my newest Card Captor Sakura WinAmp skin, which also happens to be my favorite Sakura Amp so far. There are two new Neon Genesis Evangelion skins, too: one new Asuka WinAmp skin called Reaching For the Stars, and one new Rei WinAmp skin called The Color of Sadness. I will hopefully have a new page up in the Neon Genesis Evangelion section for other characters on the show. There are also two new Sailor Moon WinAmp skins: one of Pegasus and Chibi-Moon titled A Little Romance, and a new Tuxedo Mask Amp.

I apologize for not responding to e-mails sooner that have been sent in the past week, because I've been on Spring Break, and I have not had access to the internet. I'm back in school now, though, so I will be able to respond to e-mails sooner.

My new website, Sakura's Dreamworld, has been uploaded. This new site features information on the anime Card Captor Sakura, which is currently in its third season. If you have some time, check out this site!

03/15/00 - Three new WinAmp skins have been added, finally! Sorry for the delay in putting up new WinAmp skins. I have a number of ones that I was currently working on, but unfortunately a few weeks ago, I started having problems with my hard drive, and couldn't use my computer for the past two weeks. So, I was unable to make any updates. But the good news is that my computer is finally fixed! YAY!!! And, Spring Break has just started, so in the next week, I hope to get a few more WinAmp skins finished to post on the site.

New WinAmp skins: Cherry Pink, A Study in Scarlet, and Emerald Eyes.

Cherry Pink is the new Usagi WinAmp skin that I think is "infectiously pink." A Study in Scarlet is a new Rei WinAmp skin. This WinAmp skin is the second in the futuristic set of WinAmp skins, the Clear Future Series, that I am currently in the process of making for all the Inner Scouts and Darien/Mamoru. (The first of this series was Visualizing the Future, the most recent Ami Amp.) Finally, Emerald Eyes is the newest Sailor Jupiter WinAmp skin, and it is the third in the Clear Future series of WinAmp skins. Well, I hope you enjoy these WinAmp skins. My apologies again for not posting WinAmp skins sooner, but I couldn't avoid the computer problem. And please remember to sign my Guestbook or send your comments to me. 02/28/00 - NEW!!! - "Wish Upon a Moon" is now available in the Sailor Moon section; the title was submitted by Candice when she commented on this WinAmp skin when it was shown in the In Progress WinAmp skins section. Thanks to the others who also submitted ideas for this WinAmp skin. Some other choices that I had seriously considered for this WinAmp skin were "Moongazing", "Reflection", and "Introspection". Enjoy this WinAmp skin!

I have finally finished making and uploading self-extracting zip files for collections of WinAmp skins for each EVA character. Sorry about the delay in creating these files, but I have just been so busy in the past week. Anyway, they are finally up, so check them out on the newly renovated Sample Collections page in the WinAmp skins section.

02/23/00 - "Visualizing the Future" is now available in the Sailor Mercury section of the WinAmp Skins Exhibit. Two different versions of this skin are available; see them both in the WinAmp Skins Exhibit. This is a nice WinAmp skin with an unusual picture of Ami that I found from a website that has illustrations from a Sailor Moon artbook. Please submit any comments you have about the WinAmp skins or any other section of Ami's Little Library by e-mail, or by signing my guestbook in the Interactive Center.

There are now two new sections: "Suggestions, Requests, Etc." and "Sample Collections Available for Download" in the WinAmp Skins Exhibit. A new picture has been used for the "Preview of In Progress WinAmp Skins". The "Suggestions, Requests, Etc." page has instructions about submitting requests, as well as a list of requests that have been made. The "Sample Collections Available for Download" page describes two WinAmp skins collections that I have made into self-extracting archives. There are currently two collections: a Sailor Moon Collection and an EVA Collection. I may be compiling a new collection later on, sort of a "Visitors' Favorites" collection, which I would like to compile from WinAmp skins that visitors have told me were their favorites. So just e-mail me telling me the name of your favorite WinAmp skins, or include it when you sign my Guestbook in the Interactive Center.

I am currently in the process of reuploading some WinAmp skins, so some of the links to WinAmp skins currently do not work; I will hopefully have them done by the end of the week.

Someone e-mailed me about the song that is played in the Sailor Moon R episode where Mercury leaves for Germany. I have tried to send back an e-mail, but their e-mail address was not recognized. Anyway, here's the answer; in the original Japanese episode, the song "Onaji Namida wo Wakeatte" (Sharing the Same Tears) was used, and this song was replaced by "Only a Memory Away" or "Will You Miss Me" in the North American version. The mp3 file for "Onaji Namida wo Wakeatte" is accessible on the mp3 page in the Multimedia section; but I could not tell from the e-mail if this person wanted the Japanese song or the English song. So please e-mail me back.

02/18/00 - "Shadows of the Past" is new in the Sailor Chibi-Moon section of the WinAmp Skins Exhibit. I personally think that this WinAmp skin looks pretty good; it's the first one that I've tried in black and white!

I have received several e-mails about the Ami WinAmp skin that is currently in progress. I hope to have this one released on my birthday, next Wednesday, February 23rd, so there isn't that much longer to wait! Until then, please look at the In Progress WinAmp Skins and submit suggestions for naming this WinAmp skin. I really like this one, so I'm looking for a fantastic name! Also, some good news, the links to the WinAmp skins on Angelfire.com should all work now. Thanks to those who let me know about the broken links; and please e-mail me if you find any more!

A request list has been made listing songs for which I do have MP3s. Although this list is not complete, I think that it is long enough to start with, and hopefully it will help people find the MP3s that they are looking for. Check out the Request List!!!

My apologies to those people who have recently given awards to my site; I am in the process of trying to find a new server to move the awards to, so I have not been able to post the awards up on my site yet.

02/14/00 - Happy Valentine's Day!!! Fall in Love is a new addition to the Sailor Moon WinAmp Skins section. It's here just in time for Valentine's Day! I was planning to put it up last Friday, but I was sick last week, and have lots of work to catch up on.

A new page has been added to the WinAmp Skins Exhibit. There is now a page for Previews of In Progress WinAmp skins. Check out this page to make suggestions, submit requests, and suggest names for WinAmp skins that are in progress.

Another thing that I wanted to mention here is that one of the suggestions that I have received by e-mail is that I should set up a mailing list to notify people by e-mail when a number of new skins have been added. Any opinions on this? Please e-mail me to tell me what you think about this idea. If enough people are interested in a mailing list, then I would be willing to set one up. So, anyways, just let me know.

02/10/00 - The counter at Ami's Little Library has reached 1000!!! Thanks to all of you for supporting this site. I'm frankly surprised to have received such a response to my webpage, as I originally started this webpage to work on my HTML skills, (as you might have already read on the "About the Author" page in the Help and Info Center), and the site has just continued growing from there. On the "About the Author" page, I included a picture of what the main page of Ami's Little Library looked like back in October 1999, which gives you an idea of how much the site has grown.

02/04/00 - "Contemplation" is new in the Sailor Jupiter WinAmp skins section. I hope to have a set of new WinAmp skins up by the end of next week. I'm currently finishing two new Usagi Amps, and I'm revising several older amps to make them look better. I could only put up one skin today, because I have been too busy this week, and I'm not going to have the chance to work on new WinAmp skins this weekend or Sakura's Dreamworld, which desperately needs an image gallery. (Big English paper due Monday.) If you haven't visited Sakura's Dreamworld, my new site, yet, check it out by clicking on the link at the bottom of the main page. It now has a great WAV file collection of selections from the music of Card Captor Sakura.

I've updated my favorite WinAmp skins pages, and I added an "About the Author" page in the Help and Information Center. The Award Winners page is up now, but with only two winners. If you have a webpage on Sailor Moon or another anime, submit it for an award in the Awards Display. Also, Ami's Little Library won the Anime Tek Award for January 2000.

If you have any requests for WinAmp skins, or suggestions, please submit them, and they will definitely be considered. I will e-mail you if I can fulfill your request. Or if you have made any good WinAmp skins that you are willing to post on this site, please contact me, too.

01/28/00 - A new skin is up on the site! "Destiny" is a WinAmp skin featuring Princess Serenity and Prince Endymion, which has been made for Anne. Hope you like it! And thanks to those who have signed my guestbook!

Since Ami's Chronological Log is getting too long, I have moved some of the older changes into a new page called Ami's Log of Changes, which can be accessed at the bottom of the page.

Just another note: If anyone has any anime WinAmp skins that they would like to submit to this site, please e-mail me with some info: your name, title of WinAmp skin, your e-mail address and homepage URL, description of the skin,(which I would put on the page on which your amp is posted). Also type in the URL at which I can find your skin, or attach a zip file of the skin, and optionally, attach a picture of the skin. I cannot guarantee that I will post your WinAmp skin. I am looking for reasonably high quality amps. If I do get any submissions, I will post a new page with skins that other people have made.

01/24/00 - Finally, more WinAmp skins have been added. I took some old ones down, and put up a couple of new ones. Among them are "Route Venus" (displayed on the right), "Don't Just Dream" (a Usagi amp), "The First Child" (featuring Rei Ayanami), "Silence" (a new Hotaru amp), "Into the Battle" (featuring Asuka Langley Sohryu), "I'll Stand Alone" (a Venus amp, inspired by one of her image songs), and "Joy" (a new Misato Amp). 01/19/00 - Due to finding problems with the loading of this page, I have redone the front page again, this time without javascript, and just with an image map. So, I think this will fix the long loading time and the image problems at the same time. Cross your fingers! =) Sorry not to have been updating much recently. I've been busy with school work; plus, I'm in the process of a designing a new site which will have information on the anime Card Captor Sakura. I'll be deleting a number of WinAmp skins off of the servers soon to make room for this site, and for more WinAmp skins that I've made.

01/13/00 - Sorry for the delay in updating the site. I've been busy with college and scholarship applications. However, I hope to have some more new WinAmp skins up soon. For now, four new WinAmp skins have been added. Dreaming, Approaching the Beautiful Morning, In the Shadow of the Sun, and Fire Soul Love are new in the WinAmp Skins Exhibit. I had noticed that the titles of my WinAmp skins were quite uninteresting, so I have decided to start making a new set of WinAmp skins with more inventive titles, and they may be a bit more abstract than some of my previous ones.

01/06/00 - Forms have been put up for the Link Exchange and Awards Application, and both should be functional. Please e-mail me if there are any problems with them. I also created some surveys for favorite WinAmp skin in the Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Venus, Rei Ayanami, Shinji Ikari, and Asuka Langley Sohryu sections of the WinAmp Skins Exhibit. There is also a new survey for you to submit your comments about the WinAmp Skins Exhibit in general. In this survey you can also submit requests for Win Amp Skins if you have any. Or, you can just e-mail me if you have a request. I hope to eventually make a survey for feedback on Ami's Little Library as a whole. I am also considering adding a page in the WinAmp Skins Exhibit to post other people's skins, submitted to me. Is this a good idea? E-mail me or include a comment in the WinAmp Skins Exhibit Survey to let me know what you think.

01/03/00 - Two new lyrics pages are complete: Romance Mokushi Roku and Je T'aime Shimpi Taiken, both from the Sailor Moon SuperS in Paris cd. School starts tomorrow, so I will hopefully be getting everything uploaded to the site in the next few days.

01/01/00 - Happy New Year!!! Here I am spending the first day of the new year working on this web page. Slightly ridiculous perhaps. Anyway, I made a Ami's Little Library WinAmp Skin for the start of the new year. Here it is.
Ami's Little Library Amp is now available in the WinAmp Skins Exhibit.

I've added another section to the Information Catalogs. There is now a new section entitled Episode Screenshots that contains pages with chronologically ordered pictures from Sailor Moon and Neon Genesis Evangelion episodes. I just put up six pages in this section: one page for the opening theme song to Sailor Moon S, three pages comprise the first half of the Sailor Moon SuperS special Ami-Chan no Hatsukoi. Then there is also the opening theme song to Neon Genesis Evangelion and the beginning of the fifth episode from Neon Genesis Evangelion. And yesterday or the day before I also created footers for the Character Profile pages, which now have pages for Mamoru (thanks to a friend who reminded me to add this page) and the Cats. There are also new footers in the WinAmp Skins Exhibit.

I have also added a number of pages to the Lyrics section, as well as a page for the song Ai no Shugohoshi from the Sailor Moon SuperS cd, with a romanization that I wrote myself. As I have been unable to find any romanizations or translations for the songs that are unique to the Sailor Moon SuperS in Paris cd, I have started working on them myself. I hope to have some more up in the next few weeks. =)

12/28/99 - Finally getting around to documenting the many changes that have been made to this page!! Over the winter vacation, I have started making many changes to this page.

• First, I worked on WinAmp skins, and created a number of full WinAmp skins. Actually, all of the WinAmp skins on this site are now full skins. That was quite a job, considering that I had to do it all by hand! But now it's done. And I like them a lot more now. I also added a section to the WinAmp skins page called Ami's Favorites which highlights my favorite WinAmp skins on the page; but it's so hard to pick just a few!
• Then, I made a Link Exchange page, and also created awards that people with websites can apply for and win, along with a page describing the requirements of each award and how to apply for one.
• It suddenly occurred to me as I was looking at the index page that I needed to reorganize my site as there were too many links from the index page, that it seemed to be getting slightly confusing. So, I thought about how I wanted to reorganize my page, and after looking at some Javascript, I decided to make a two-shelf "bookcase" with four books each, and these sections are: Information Catalogs, Ami's Chronological Log, Picture Galleries, Multimedia Collection, WinAmp Skins Exhibit, Awards Display, and Interactive Center. All the sections that had previously existed were reorganized under these categories.
• Then I found out some interesting things with styles in HTML, and I created a nice footer that has color-changing links to these different sections at the bottom of the index page, and the main pages for each section.
• Since the titles of these sections could potentially be confusing, I later decided to make a help page that describes the contents of each section.
• After looking through the site a couple of times, I decided to add two sections to the Information Catalogs section: CD Listings and Episode Scripts, although perhaps the CD Listings should go into the Multimedia Collection. Anyway, the CD Listings contain lists of songs from Sailor Moon and Neon Genesis Evangelion cds, and I am currently in the process of writing reviews for these songs and cds. The Episode Scripts section is pretty self-explanatory. Since the DIC version of Sailor Moon goes through the Sailor Moon and Sailor Moon R series, I decided to start creating pages for the Sailor Moon S series. And they were a lot more work than I originally thought. It took many hours to get all of the pages up, but currently all the pages are done for the episodes in the S series except for two, which I will finish later. And that's all for now!

12/11/99 - Changed the look on the front page yet again. More WinAmp skins are up, now featuring some full skins. The number of WinAmp skins on this page has just gone over 100. Also, a poll has been put up in a new section called Polls and Surveys. And, some small banners that can be used to link to my page have been posted in the Links page.

12/10/99 - A bit of a new look to the main page, featuring a few WinAmp skins. I'm starting to look into some Javascript- it's a lot of fun.

12/09/99 - More WinAmp Skins are up! I really like the Princess Kaguya Amp and the new Ami Swimming Amp. I also like some of the new Neon Genesis Evangelion Amps as well: there's a nice one with Rei Ayanami and Pen-Pen, one with Asuka trying to catch snow on her tongue, and others. Take a look at these new ones.

12/08/99 - I finally wrote out the "What is Sailor Moon" page, and changed some of the text on the front page to talk about what is available on this website. I'm still working on WinAmp skins, and hope to have some new ones up on the page next week.

12/07/99 - Added a new section to the page!! WinAmp Skins are now available from the main page. Go and check out the skins that I have currently put up on the page. I hope to be adding more skins gradually. Right now I have put up WinAmp skins that I have made using Sailor Moon images and Neon Genesis Evangelion images. Unfortunately, I took off two mp3s to make room for these changes. I also received some more awards! Many thanks to these people!!! And please sign my guestbook and let me know what you think! 12/02/99 - Added links to the Links page. I happened to find two great sites on Neon Genesis Evangelion by accident, and I added these sites to the links page, in a new section for websites on other anime. I have never seen Neon Genesis Evangelion, and know next to nothing about it, but the site "Symphony of Eva" has some great mp3s that I downloaded. Check out this site if you have time.

11/30/99 - Created a Dreambook that visitors can sign from this site. After looking around the site, go and sign my Dreambook to tell me and others what you think of this site.

11/14/99 - Finally, the images pages have been changed, and the multimedia pages have been revised. Added a number of pages to the lyrics section. The links page has been created. All the links in the images pages and the multimedia pages should now work.

10/29/99 - Lyrics page started; the images pages need to be changed, as they are too large.

10/15/99 - Images and multimedia pages completed.

09/30/99 - Completed first version and basics of this webpage. Character profiles are completed, but multimedia and images need to be completed soon.
