I bought this entirely because of the cover artwork for the first volume; it's got clean, simplistic artwork that was very attractive, and the back has a drawing of a handsome guy. The artwork inside is also very attractive, although rather busy! But that makes sense in keeping with the story, which is about the class representive (Iinchou). One day she's coming to school, and tries to protect one of her classmates from some gang. All of a sudden a guy comes in and saves the both of them, and then asks her to be his girl -- which he says would make her the anesan (wife of a crime-boss)! Turns out he's the new exchange student in her class, and the son of a yakuza boss! He starts pursuing her as she takes over the many challanges necessary as the class representative -- anything from giving out chopsticks to giving out tests!

The story moves fairly slowly, and introduces characters slowly, too. Usually the story runs in an issue-by-issue basis. I'd recommend it highly!
