Nemuri Hime Age

Kazumi Ooya, Flower, 6

Ooya Kazumi is mostly known for her short stories, and many of her titles -- like this one -- are about rock stars and the sort. Ayane, a high school student, loves to sing. But once, something bad happened. Ayane is really tall -- not just tall for a Japanese girl, but tall for a girl in general. So when she was singing once, a boy she liked insulted her about it, and from then on she has said she won't sing, and has tried to blend in. One day while working in her uncle's bar, the singer from her favorite band comes in, looking for a girl he said he once saw singing there. With him is Yabe, a popular idol. Now Ayane is being pressured to start singing again, and naturally she has all kinds of confusing love interests.

I like this very much: It's very cute, and yet very touching. Ayane is just a normal girl, and she has so much she has to deal with. It's very entertaining, and I like it alot.
