A Display of Power: A Fire Senshi's Realm Anniversary Special

Sailormars delivers a spectacular blow to her opponent. She holds the flames in her hands... truly awesome and phenomenal already. In this page, you'll see the variations in her attacks.

Most of these "special" attacks are those reserved for the most powerful enemy and so they are rarely seen. All the sailor soldier try their best to harness their power effectively. They summon all their strength in order to deliver the mightiest blow. And of course, the execution is just accompanied with pure elegance...!

What impresses me about Sailormars's "special" attacks is that they are really beautifully done! Her long, purple-highlighted tresses dance softly as she turns and the flames surround her magnificently. She really rules over this element! And of course, catch the impressive close-up of her dark purple eyes! ^_^

Beautifully surrounded by fire.... Sailormars attacks against Fiore's minions.

One of the most beautiful attacks is that in Bishoujo Senshi R, the movie. In this first movie, the senshi face Fiore who is manipulated by an evil Kisenian flower. Honestly, I think that this is the best movie in terms of story and song. (Most of the Kraiders think so, too!) The Inner senshi deliver more variation of their attacks, unlike in the other two movies. (But the animation has greatly improved in those movies.)

In this movie, Sailormars is the last to attack Fiore's approaching minions. She gathers the fire in her hands and wraps the flames around herself before delivering the final blow to destroy a score of those enemies.

Another reason for watching this movie: it concentrates on friendship. Especially that of the Inner senshi. This movie shows that they are really close than we ever thought.

The attack of Sailormars here is actually her Fire Soul! In the other two movies S and Super S, the attacks are the same. Except that the illustration in the last movie is truly detailed! Compared to how Sailormars delivers her Fire Soul in the first season, the detail in gathering the fire in her hands and the outline of her legs as she does her stance, makes the movement softer and more realistic.

In this Super S episode, Sailormars's first attempt is deflected as Fish Eye's dome holds Super Sailormoon and Super Sailorchibimoon inside. The Inner senshi try to enter it but failed. With the help of Pegasus, Sailormars and the others receive their new pens and calls on a new henshin phrase, "Mars Crystal Power Make Up!"

When Sailormars strikes, her Burning Mandala now breaks one of the (toy horse) pillars that hold the dome. Her Burning Mandala is now more powerful.
