Almost everyone seemed to admire the Gundam pilots and compare their mecha or fighting machines of which who among them is the strongest. My friends or cousins would say that s/he likes Duo (the constant top rater) or Quatre, but I'd answer differently. (You would know, ne? -_^)

The first few episodes were definitely intriguing. Zechs wore a mask then and his character intrigued more than Hiiro's constancy for death. The day that his mask broke was the episode I would not forget. It was not the climax on his character, though, because prior to that, it was revealed that he was part of a phenomenal royal family committed to peace. A prince -- Julian Pittskert (Miliardo Peacecraft) was his real name. The day his mask broke was the appropriate finishing touch in the story where he would break off OZ and its subsidiaries.

Aside from this, he was clever, even cunning, and very much a good fighter. Calm, mysterious, and his silence even triggered a different kind of power. (Besides, he looked good in whatever he wore. -_^) It is of no surprise that his charisma attracted Rhine (Lucrezia Noin) until the very end.

One thing I don't particularly like (you think this guy would have an imperfection? -_^) is that he was always a complex creature. In this page, I would not dare try to analyze his personality in depth as much as I want to because it seems particularly chaotic! Take him as he is, just Rhine (Lucrezia Noin) did! And speaking of her, whatever happened with them? Zechs did not seem to show much affection on her. His friend, equally complex Treize showed a deeper concern to his Lady Ann (Une) than him. More of Zechs and Noin!

Regarding the Gundam pilots, however... I do have favorites among them. (Guilty....) Trowa, of course. You gotta marvel at this guy for handling the Zero Type Wing well despite his post-amnesiac mental state. He's got more mystery than any, plus he's good with guns as he is with martial arts. Okay, so I like Hiiro and Duo, too. The only characters I don't like are Wu Fei (for his comments on women and a bit impulsive fighter, which I think is a disadvantage) and Rilina. For all it's worth, Rilina didn't get the good genes in Zechs's family.
