I am called Julie. I finally finished the attempt to receive a degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in May 2000. I moved from Illinois in August 2001 to Seattle, WA. It was quite a trip, lots of fun with my friend Chris Sukhaphadhana. August 2005, the reverse trip has occurred with my friend Lorraine Thomas. I am now attempting to receive another diploma from U of I.

In Urbana, I worked primarily at The Urbana Free Library as a circulation clerk, interacting with many books and and members of the Champaign-Urbana community. I also worked on-campus in the Engineering Work Station computer labs, and used to be a computer site consultant for the Computing and Communications Services Office. Both positions basically required that I pretended to know something about computers. I think I did a pretty good job of fooling people.

When I was living in Seattle, life was pretty similar to living in Urbana. I worked for the University of Washington in the Office of Gift Planning. I also worked part-time for (and am still on payroll just in case I get the chances to visit Seattle and want to earn a few dollars) for the Seattle Center. During summers 2003 and 2004, I played catcher for a softball team, Trouble, which was co-captained by my friend Pamela Pernick.

To let you know what kind of person I am (besides being rather insane), take a look at the pages which contain my favorite things.

My favorite books are science-fiction, fantasy, and romance.

Given my Nakago fetish, you can have the chance to finish looking at my webshrine.

Comments, critiques, and babbling all wanted by email. Thanks!!!
