As we all know, Athena spent her Chinese New Year holidaying in Hokkaido, Japan. And while she was there, she decided to try out the hot springs. This was the first time for her and her companion and she was reluctant at first, since everybody has to strip before being allowed to soak in the water, even though they went to a women-only area that was sectioned off from public view and furthermore, they went at night so that there will be less people around. But seeing her companion take off her clothes and hopping in without hesistation, Athena was curious as to how her friend could be so bold. Her friend explained that they have actually already seen each other in the buff years ago when they stayed in a hostel together. Realising this, Athena hesistated no further and promptly stripped and entered the springs. It was indeed an interesting experience for her and she was glad she did it. After spending some time in the hot spring, Athena got up to admire the snowflakes as she has never seen them before and have only heard that they were hexagonal in shape. She was delighted when she found that they were indeed so. However, when she heard some male voices , she quickly dove back into the water, thoroughly embarassed. It turns out that the voices came from the mixed section on the other side of the wall, giving Athena a bad scare.
Athena also tried her hand at skiing, but being a beginner, she used her bottom more than the skis coming down the slope..
And of course, how can Athena forget to try out the delicacies there. She especially liked the milk as she found it to be particularly tasty. The sashimi was also dirt cheap and Athena feasted heartily. And all these indulging means that Athena will have to spent some time in the gym when she is back in HK. But one thing that Athena will not give up eating for sure is chicken. She simply has to have chicken for every meal!
