Welcome to Megalo City Network. The year is 2040. The setting is Tokyo. In 2009 Bioscape's WIZ laboratory, with the new addition of Dr. Stingray, makes huge advances in android technology. Development begins on Boomers (commercial androids). In 2032 Bioscape is purchased by Genom. In 2033 Dr. Stingray is killed while working in the WIZ lab during the great earthquake which brings Tokyo to its knees. In 2034 the AD Police are formed to handle the increasing mechanical threat to the population from automated devices. In 2035 Genom starts selling Voomers® (brand name Boomers) commercially on the open market. In 2037 strange reports of a powered armor group of vigilantes start to appear. The group calls themselves the Knight Sabers.
