It has one of my fav actors, Karasawa Toshiaki. I think he was more of a male giggolo than a playboy right? (Well, I'm not very good with my command of Japanese so I depended a lot of the Manadarin subtitles) Yes, you're right about the part of him being comatised. :-) There's another good movie called "Hananbi".
