![]() | Maison Ikkoku Music Shake Maison Ikkoku is often praised for its music. This album has lots of background music, all instumental. Just hearing it makes you feel as if you are in the Maison Ikkoku senario. Reminiscence of the anime series would follow. It also has 2 vocals, "Begin The Night", a lovely piece and the last ending theme for the series and the classic "Alone Again" by Gibert O'Sullivan. This album is ideal to listen to when studying, reading Mangas or when simply relaxing. Excellent Album.

![]() | Maison Ikkoku Music Sour This is the 2nd part of Music Shake. When combined, the two albums form about 95% of the total BGMs in the anime series. Like Music Shake, it has lots of nice music and is ideal for any leisure mood. There are no vocals in this one. Not a bad album.

Maison Ikkoku Best Selection This is a super album. This one I listened to while practising my A-Maths during the O'Levels. Tracks like "Suki-Sa" and "Kanashimi yo Konnichiwa" are very catchy. It has a very good mix of vocals and BGMs. With most of the opening and ending themes including "Cinema". But SADLY, "Hidamari", the final opening theme in the series is not included. Other than that, this is an almost perfect album.

Maison Ikkoku Music Blend 2 The production of this album (Taiwan SM Prssing) has actually been discontinued. So when I saw this on a shelf, I snapped it up immediately. An OK album with 27 tracks of which 5 are vocals. The high point of this album has got to be "Suki-Sa" and a wonderful BGM played during the final episode of the anime series where the characters' future were reveiled. A good album to store in a Disc Man.

![]() | Party Album: Cha Cha Maru Karaoke Battle This is a really funny album. It has alot of drama. Characters in the anime series supposedly gathered at Cha Cha Maru for a karaoke battle. Each character sings a song. Lots of fun involved. I don't understand the dialogue and yet, I laughed my head off when everytime I heard Yotsuya. At the end, there are karaoke versions of the songs for us to sing. A very fun album.

Maison Ikkoku Remix Album I really hate to say this but this album really sucks. The entire feel of Maison Ikkoku is killed by the funny sounding remix. The music dosen't sound 90's, 80's or even 70's. I don't know what it sounds like!! It reallly hurts me to criticise any thing about MI but I have to warn the ignorant MI fans out there. This album gets : NOTHING!! ABSOLUTELY INDIGESTIBLE!!
