An Intro to the Young & Dangerous Series

I'm making some improvements right now, trying to find some pics of the diff movies. I'll put up a sypnosis of each movie later, and some of my own views regarding that, but for now I'll just babble a little bit about the Young and Dangerous movie series itself. I've watched all 6 parts to the series, and my faves were Part I and Part III. Over the summer while I was in HK, I had the opportunity to catch Part VI, the latest release, and if u'r a Jordan fan, u'r really gonna enjoy it cuz he's the lead in it and can kick some Ekin butt anyday.

Basically, if u've never heard of the Young and Dangerous series, u should go out and buy all of the VCDs available. I got a quick recap of all 6 parts of the series over the summer cuz my cousin went out and bought the entire series on VCD. The series surrounds a gang of HK Triad ppl (dunno how else to explain it) as they try to move up the Triad social ladder to becoming the 'big brother'. It is based on the original comic series by a HK cartoonist (have no idea who since I don't follow it).

Jordan Chan plays one of the guys in the Hung Hing Triad called 'Mountain Chicken'. Jordan is the sidekick of his 'big brother' Chan Ho Nam, played by Ekin Cheng, who is one of the up-and-coming triad personas in HK. U definitely have to watch Part I to know what I'm talking about. Part I and Part III r crucial, the other parts u can skip over, but watch Part VI if u really like Jordan.
