General Choi, who was assisted by his son, Master Choi Jung Hwa, VIII Dan, described and demonstrated all techniques and patterns from white to black belt. It was an honour, especially for us in Jamaica, to be instructed by the founder of our beloved art form.

Following the seminar, a special dinner was held in recognition of the General's 80th birthday. His birthday cake had the Jamaica TKD logo and two TKD figures specially made for him. The General was visibly touched event, and by the sentiments expressed by the speaker from each country who also bore gifts. After he spoke, the General walked to each table and clinked wine glasses with each and every one of us in the room, a trult remarkable occasion.

Master Choi was also presented with a gift, a Rastafarian hat, complete with dreadlocks.
