| There are more and more singers in Thailand, mostly teenagers. I am not talking about them in this topic. I would like to talk about album production. If you read those lines below and think "that's wrong" then please let me know. I will respect your opinion and hope you would respect mines too. |
| I am a listener who love to read every bit of album cover. I love to see who are the songwritters, the chorus singers, sound engineerers, producer all those dudes behind the scene. I would adore them, those people I have known of their great works. |
| Then there is one thing I would like to see in the future, in Thai music industry. I would like to see more han one producers per album. Usually, one artist would have their own producer, who is in the same record company of course. Then since I am a fan of many artists overseas, I always read upon their album covers. They would be working with so many producers per album. That means you get a wide range of stlye in one album from their work. And that you can never guess, when listening to the radio, who the artist is. |
| Unlike overhere in Thailand, I could just guess which songs come from which record company. It is something fantastic, the way they work!!. Their album might costs more money, but it usually worth every pennies (pennies is a money unit of the UK). But that is upto the song writers and artists too. |

is also normal for artists of "different" record companies working with
each other. They would write and or produce songs together.
Also, going on the same stage, filming
same TV show and so on. Look at Thailand, if you are in so and so company you can't do so and so with artists outside the 'boundery'. If they are allow to work together then we might get some good thing from them. (as long as the 'rythmn' was not copy from Overseas artists) |

we might get to have a 'fair' music chart. Our own proper 'official'
music chart!! Just like 'The Billboard' in USA or 'Pepsi Network
Chartshow' (listener chart) and "Official UK Chart" (buyer chart) in the
UK. We won't have to wonder "why one earth!?!" after seeing different
music program who both claim, thier artists have Number 1 hits at the same
time. I can't answer my mates once when they ask about Thailand
official
chart. What should I tell them? |
