Tsukasa runs as thoughts go through her head. She recalls the earlier conversation with her oldest brother.

Tsukasa: "---...Taku-nii... Are you hiding something from me......?"

Taku: "......You baka. ...I'm not hiding anything......"

She sees the image of Taku, holding his head.

Taku: "...At this rate, it'll won't be long before Tsukasa realizes...... ---...that she... ---...is not related to us------..." [This line is probably an echo from the previous episode, which I still don't have.]

Tsukasa stops in the hallway. It looks like she's in the hospital again.

Tsukasa: {---...------..I....... ...I don't believe it------...!!}

Elsewhere in the hospital. There are 4 very cute Ryuji SDs of him trying to stay awake.

Ryuji: "......" His eyes are half open.

He nods off.

He startles and jolts awake.

"......"

He starts nodding off again, and jolts awake once more.

Bun-san and Kamo-san are watching. Ryuji is resting in bed (but sitting upright).

Kamo-san, looking exasperated: "...Sandaime..."

Ryuji, suddenly looking alert: "...Don't be mistaken. I'm not tired nor sleepy!!"

Kamo-san, sighing: {...Still like this......}

Bun-san: {...Sandaime... hasn't changed at all......}

Kamo-san: {...Do you really think there's a human who was near death can wake up and carry on as if nothing has ever happened.........?} Kamo-san holds up his hand. "...Sandaime...... We have to contact the main house so we will be gone for awhile." {Let's go Shibuya. As long as we're here he won't try to rest......}

Kamo-san and Bun-san head for the door.

Ryuji: "...... ...Hey......"

Kamo-san: "......Ha?"

Ryuji: "...I haven't seen Asago yet...... ....How is she......? ......Is she at the main house...?"

Kamo-san's expression freezes: "---..."

Ryuji catches this. "......What's wrong------...?"

Tsukasa is talking to herself. Again.

Tsukasa: "I get it! That thing earlier was an illusion!! I was probably just hearing things since I'm lacking sleep!! Now that I think about it, I really wonder if that was Taku-nii back there...!!" {Since I'm lacking sleep~~~ ---...That's right......... ...There's no reason why I'm not related to everyone......!} "I probably mistook some doctor in a white coat for Taku-nii! No, maybe it was 'The Thinker' wearing clothes." [For those who don't know about art, 'The Thinker' is the bronze statue sculpted by Rodin the French artist.] {Most of all, if I'm really not related to them then where did I come from and why was I taken in by the Kozuki family!?}

She recalls previous words by Misumi and Shiki.

Misumi: "...There is blood that runs in you that is unlike that of most people."

Misumi: "...Your brothers aren't involved in this... The only one who was given it was you..."

Shiki: "......Since you may hold the 'key' to make the world bow to the feet of Garyukai......"

Tsukasa stops to think again. She laughs hysterically... and transforms into an old man wearing suspenders and a beret, smoking a pipe.

Tsukasa: "I just thought of the weirdest thing." {I can be an author at this rate.} "If this was true then life is like a spectacle." {---Suppose I'm really not related to everyone, and suppose there's some living thing that called him/herself my parent. Maybe the one that stole the great secret, or the 'key' that'll benefit Garyukai was not Mom but that living thing...... ...and that living thing was somehow related to the gokudo and trusted that 'key' with me------...} "...Yea~~~~~h right." {When I actually write it out it seems pretty stupid... At this rate, I'll just get an award for effort and that'll be it.}

Tsukasa is seen with a pen and paper, supposedly writing out this possible scenario.

Tsukasa, laughing again: "It's far from reality---!"

Toshi: "A!? He----y! Tsukasa------! What are you doing in a place like this------?"

Tsukasa, turning: "N?"

Behind her are Toshi, Sho, Azuma and Tsubaki.

Tsubaki: "Hey----! Kozuki---!"

Tsukasa: "Toshi, Sho Asaba-kun! You guys were early! You came to see Ryuji......" She then notices Taku.

Taku: "------..."

Tsukasa starts: {......Taku-nii---...!}

Nearby.

Kamo-san: "Sandaime~~~!!"

He and Bun-san are chasing after Ryuji.

Ryuji is putting on his jacket as he's walking on.

Kamo-san: "Sandaime! Please wait a minute!!" {You shouldn't be moving around yet!}

Bun-san: "You're not yet completely well!"

Ryuji: "Do you think I won't do anything knowing that Asago is missing?"

Kamo-san: "Well that's true but having you looking aimlessly won't make you find Asago-san any sooner~~~~~~~~~!"

Ryuji stops as he sees Tsukasa and gang ahead of him.

Tsubaki, apologizing: "Sorry~~~ Our car followed and~~~"

Tsukasa: "Don't worry about it."

Tsubaki, stifling laughter and pointing at Azuma: "...Well actually, Azuma is using visiting Shirogami as an excuse to see you Kozuki. This guy's a shotakon!" {He really likes you~~~ He keeps watching the same part of the graduation trip video over and over and over.}

Azuma, bright red in the face: "TsuTsuTsuTsuTsu Tsubaki-san!!"

Tsukasa, looking confused: "......E.......!?"

Azuma: "Tsu...Tsubaki-san and Sumire-san are mistaking something! I I I I just thought that Tsukasa-san looks like someone I know so I was just a bit interested in knowing...!"

Tsubaki: "E!? Was that a guy that you liked!?"

Azuma: "It wasn't a guy!!"

Tsukasa looking thoughtful: "...I didn't know... that I was an oyaji-killer~~~"

Toshi and Sho both leaning on her: "You can't help it since we're brothers..." [Recall that waaaaay back in episode no. 23, Sho and Toshi described themselves as oyaji (old man) killers where they work]

Azuma stares some more: "........."

Tsukasa: "... ...What?" {No... No confessions of love. It'll confuse me.}

Azuma: "...Nothing... ...I was thinking this since I was introduced to your family but....... .... it seems more like Shohei-kun and Toshiyuki-kun are twins rather than Toshiyuki-kun and Tsukasa-san......" [I wonder if there's a reason why it's Shohei-kun and Toshiyuki-kun as opposed to Tsukasa-san]

Tsukasa: "...... ...Aa. We're told that rea~~lly often. Toshi and Sho are usually mistaken as twins but nobody thinks that me and Toshi are twins."

Toshi: "That's right. Even when we say that we're brothers, there are times when we're told that 'you don't look related'~~~"

Nearby, Ryuji, Kamo-san and Bun-san are nodding in agreement: {For example, the fact that her arms and legs move before her mouth in a violent manner......}

Tsubaki: "...Maybe you...... really aren't brothers?"

Taku starts.

Azuma glances at Taku: "......"

Tsukasa starts bursting out in laughter. "You say such a funny thing with a serious face!!"

Sho: "Really! It shows that you're from Kansai--"

Tsubaki: "E? Really? Really? Was it that funny?"

Tsukasa: "It is funny------!! Right Taku-nii?"

Taku starts: "!!" He has his back turned to his sister. He slowly turns to face her. "...... ...E...?"

Tsukasa: "That I'm the only one not related! That's not possible since we all have the same blood type right? Don't you find that funny------? ...Isn't it funny...?"

She gets no response from Taku.

Taku: "......"

Tsukasa: "...Laugh... ...Laugh like Toshi and Sho... that it's stupid."

Toshi and Sho look worried.

Toshi: "..."

Sho: "...?"

Tsukasa: {---...Please,} "...Laugh......!!" She has a pleading look on her face and tears that are about to spill.

Taku looks at her in horror. "...Tsukasa...... ...Could it be...--- ...that ...at that time...... you were------..."

Taku recalls sitting on the steps to the hospital talking to himself, and then thinking that he heard someone behind him. [I'm assuming this is from the last episode.]

Tsukasa's eyes go wide in shock.

Kamo-san leans over and speaks into Ryuji's ear: "...... ...Sandaime... Doesn't something seem strange...?"

Ryuji: "......"

Toshi, looking to Taku: "...What...? Taku-nii... ...What are you talking about...?"

Tsukasa is looking down in disbelief.

Sho, worriedly: "...Tsukasa... What's wrong...?"

Tsukasa suddenly leaves the group and takes off on a run.

Somebody: "A! TSUKASA!!"

Tsukasa runs right past Ryuji but she takes no notice of him.

Ryuji: "...!"

Taku: "---------TSUKASA------!!"

In some parking lot again.

Asago is sitting alone in the patrol car.

Asago: "------..." She glances at the open window on the driver side. "---..."

Earlier, Munakata had left the car saying: "---I'm going to go buy some cigarettes. Wait here quietly."

Asago: {------Why...... ...am I really waiting here quietly---......?} "~~~~~~..." Her hair is frazzled. {He left without locking the driver side door.......}

Text: The passenger side door is locked.

Asago: {...If I'm going to escape... it's now or never. That's right! It's easy, just open the door and leave! Okay...!! ...Let's do it.....!}

She leans over and reaches out for the lock control on the driver side with her left hand... and stops. She looks down at her left hand.

Munakata's earlier words repeat in her head.

She notices something flickering.

Asago: "...N...?" The phone set of the patrol car is flashing. {...What......? It seems like he's being called......} "......" She presses the button.

"HEY---------!!"

Asago: "!!!" The sound from the phone set knocks her back into the seat. "...W... What......!?"

"Where the heck are you and what the heck are you doing------!? I've told you not to quit your regular reporting------!!"

Asago: {...A superior officer from work...?}

"You do have the drug users don't you?"

Asago: "...Drug...?" {Ooh...} She glances in the back seat where the tied up drug users are squished. {...You mean these...?}

"It's good that you're chasing after the syndicate that's producing the illegal guns but do something about the drug users first!! Hey---! Answer me---! You are listening aren't you------? Ha...!? ...Hey... Could it be that you've brought a woman into the patrol car again to do something indecent ~~~~~~!? Enough already! A patrol car isn't a mobile hotel or anything------!!!" This comment is accompanied by several popped veins.

Asago: "......"

The door to the driver side suddenly crashes open as Asago kicks her way out. She then starts stomping away.

Asago: {That good for nothing~~~~~~!! He must be picking up girls all year round and taking them into his patrol car------!! I don't believe it!! The world can't be safe if public peace is maintained by yakuza-like cops like him!! I don't want to be with the guy for another second! I don't know what he'll try to do to me.}

She glances over and spies Munakata. Looks like he's at the gates to some building.

Asago: {...Ge! The good for nothing!} She glances again. "..."

Munakata is smoking a cigarette.

Asago: {...What's he doing in a place like that......? ...Oh well who cares...}

She's about to turns away when she suddenly sees Munakata's expression turn hard.

Asago: "------!" {...The tense atmosphere... ...Since... I've lived in that kind of world for so long, I know... that's what you call...} She sees him descend into the building. "...A...!!" {Battle mode!!}

She stares. {...He went down.........} She thinks back to the call she heard in the patrol car. "..." {...Could it be...... that it had something to do with that.........} She starts. {...And so what......!? It doesn't involve me!! That's right syndicates usually means that there are a lot of people and him going on in like that as if stepping into a bee hive doesn't matter to me! It doesn't hurt nor itch that a guy like him disappears from this world!!} She starts walking away.

Asago: {...That's right! So how about I watch how you die so that I can laugh at you......!!?}

In this frame Asago is seen panting out of breath and hiding behind several piled boxes. It seems that they're in some kind of warehouse.

Asago: {I really, really only came to watch so don't be mistaken!} She's trying to convince herself of the reason why she followed Munakata.

Text: It seems that she wandered around an awful lot.

A little distance away, Munakata can be seen facing some guy who has another guy hostage.

Munakata: "...Man, aren't you stupid......" {Since you managed to escape all the way here from Tokyo.} "...If you were just calmly hiding a little bit longer. Thinking you shook me off your tail you go wandering around like this and look at the result. ...Oh well... You can't help it since in this world bad guys are meant to be captured.

Guy: "..."

The hostage is labelled as an unfortunate guy who just happened to be walking by. The guy has a gun held to the hostage's head.

Asago, still watching: {... ...Oh... There's only one opponent... And you can tell at a glance which is superior.}

Guy: "Don't come any closer! If you come any closer I'll kill this guy!!"

Asago: {...In this kind of situation, hostages are useless...... It's just a matter of time.} She startles as she hears a noise behind her. She whirls. "!!"

Munakata: "...Kill the hostage...? ...Sure why not~~?"

Guy, who's bleeding on the face. "...... ..What...?"

The hostage blanches.

Munakata: "There are too many males in this world... If a number of them disappear it'll even it out." He smiles slyly. "...Next time you take a hostage, take a woman......" He points his gun to shoot.

Asago: "...! BEHIND YOU------!!!"

Munakata whirls just as shots are fired.

BANG! BANG BANG BANG!

Asago has her arms pinned behind her. At her back are several men, all with guns. She starts.

Munakata is nicked by several bullets. He smiles at her. "...Well done...!" He then returns fire.

The men: "!!" A number of them are shot down.

Asago: "!!" She shows fangs. "...H... He----y!! What if you hit me---!? Don't shoot---------!!"

The man holding her then points the muzzle of the gun to Asago's head.

Asago: "!!!"

Munakata, ready to shoot again: "!!!"

Man: "...Just like you said, I'll take a woman hostage...... If you want to save her then throw your gun away!" [BTW, it's not the same guy as before... Where did he go anyway?]

Asago: "!! Don't!! Just shoot! Forget about me!!"

Munakata: "...... ...Which one? First you say don't shoot, and now you say to shoot..." {What a confusing girl.}

Asago: "Just shoot------!!"

Man: "Shut up!!" He hits her with the barrel of the gun.

Asago: "...!" She falls to the ground.

The man steps on her left arm, pulling her head back by her hair with one arm and pointing the gun at her head with the other. Asago's right arm is free.

Munakata sighs. "..."

Asago: "... ...No... ...Stop..." {...No...}

Munakata twirls the gun on his trigger finger, and lets the gun hang for a moment.

Asago: {...No...!} "...I don't want to see this any more......!" {...Someone falling because of me------!!} She sees an image of Ryuji falling before her again. She then notices a fallen man to her right. He has a gun in his hand.

Munakata lets the gun fall from his fingers, and it slowly makes its way to the floor.

Asago: {I don't want to be anyone's burden anymore---------!!}
