The Hope is perhaps the most powerful card in the Clow Cards. This card is the result of the fusion of the card created by Sakura and the mysterious card that I call the void. Void was an original card created by Clow Reed as the ultimate card and balance of the rest of the Clow Cards. Long time ago, this card was abandoned and forgotten and this caused the card lost its balance and begin to cause problems. It´s power is to cause void and make people and objects dissapear. If Sakura captures this card, her more precious feelings will dissapear.

In the movie, Sakura was warned about this situation but she had the duty to seal the card. At the end, Syaoran was destined to lose his memory of Sakura forever. But with the help of the magic card created by Sakura and because of her love for Syaoran, Void and the card joined together to create the hope card and at the end, Syaoran didnt lose his memories of Sakura.
