A strangely silent Sakura stared out the window and gazed at the snow-covered trees as little snowflakes fluttered down from the sky and decorated everything with a thick coat of white snow. Tomoyo noticed her bestfriend's strange behavior and smiled wearily. Sakura was so deep in her thoughts, she didn't notice Mr. Terada walk into the classroom and give an announcement to the class.

"Class, today we have two foreign exchange students." Mr. Terada announced clearly for everyone to hear. Sakura, who was still daydreaming, immediately snapped out of her reverie and looked at her teacher. Deep down inside, she was hoping it would be Syaoran that would walk through the doors.

"One from America and the other from China. Please come in." Mr. Terada said as he wrote their names on the blackboard. Sakura's face fell and showed utter disappointment but she hid it and gazed at the two new students. First, a tall boy walked in proudly, followed by a pretty girl who looked slightly nervous. The boy had blond hair and sapphire blue eyes. He glanced around the room and his gaze fell on Sakura. He grinned at her but Sakura felt somewhat uneasy.

'Hoe? Why do all the exchange students always stare at me? First, it was Syaoran-kun, Meiling-chan, then Eriol-kun.' Sakura thought as she shifted her gaze to the girl.

The girl had black hair shoulder length hair and eyes as black as night. She smiled warmly at the class even if she still looked rather nervous.

"This is Calvin Hurst and Setsuna Minaka. I don't think I need to tell all of you to be friendly towards them." Mr. Terada finished with a smile. "Hurst-san, take a seat in front of Kinomoto-san and Setsuna-san, you can sit behind Daidouji-san." They took their seats and Mr. Terada started the lesson.

Sakura, Tomoyo, Chiharu, Takashi, Rika and Naoko sat at a table together and ate lunch while chatting.

"Hoe? I got rice omelet today!" Sakura cheered.

"Hey, look! Isn't that one of the new students?" Chiharu inquired as she pointed towards a lonely figure eating quietly. Everyone followed Chiharu's gaze.

"Hai, it is. She looks very lonely, ne?" Rika exclaimed.

"The other new student is doing well though." Naoko said pointing to a group of girls surrounding Calvin.

"Do you know that whe-" Takashi began.

"Takashi-kun! We don't need to hear your stories now!" Chiharu interrupted.

"Why not we invite Setsuna-san to eat with us?" Tomoyo asked.

"I'll go invite her!" Sakura replied as she got up and ran toward the new girl.

Minaka sat all alone with her thoughts. She poked at her lunch and glanced at the group of girls around a proud Calvin.

'There is something strange about that guy and I can't help feeling he's up to no good.' She thought as she swallowed a spoonful of rice. She was so wrapped up in her thoughts; she didn't notice Sakura walking up to her.

"Konnichiwa! I'm Kinomoto Sakura." Sakura said, smiled brightly. Minaka looked up and returned Sakura's smile with a smile of her own.

"Konnichiwa. I'm Setsuna Minaka. Dozo yoroshiku."

"Setsuna-san, would you like to join us for lunch?"

"Hai, Kinomoto-san. And please call me Minaka."

"Then you can call me Sakura." Sakura answered. Both of them walked over to the table. Everyone greeted and introduced themselves to Minaka. She sat next to Naoko and soon, everyone began shooting questions at her.

After school...

"Minaka-chan where do you live?" Tomoyo asked as the three girls were walking towards the school gate.

"In an apartment not too far off." Minaka jumped when Sakura gasped.

"Hoe? I left my Math notebook in class! I'll be right back!" Sakura ran quickly toward the classroom and found her notebook on her desk. She grabbed it and made a dash out the door and bumped into someone.

"Gomen nasai! I didn't mean to-" Sakura stopped mid-sentenced when she realized who she bumped into.

"It's alright Kinomoto-san. It's not your fault. I'll make up to you." Calvin said, grinning at her.

"Iie. It's my fault, Hurst-kun. I didn't watch where I was going."

"It's no problem at all. It will be my pleasure to treat someone as lovely as you to cup of hot chocolate on this cold frosty day." As he said that, he mustered his most charming smile.

"It's okay, I guess." Sakura answered with her head down and her cheeks tinted a light pink.

"Good. Let's go." He offered to carry her backpack for her, even if she solemnly refused. Then they headed out the open school gates.

In a corner watching the whole scene, were two figures. One was holding a video camera and the other glaring daggers at Calvin. Tomoyo let out a sigh as Sakura and Calvin walked out of sight.

"That was really kawaii but I wish Li-kun was the one with Sakura, not Hurst-kun." A reassuring hand patted her shoulder.

"Hai, Tomoyo-chan. I understand how you feel." Minaka realized what she just said and quickly added. "I'm sure this Li-kun suits Sakura-chan better." Tomoyo just eyed her suspiciously, causing Minaka to laugh nervously.

"Why not I walk home with you, Tomoyo-chan? Then you can tell me about this Li-kun." Minaka said trying to change the subject. Tomoyo's face lit up at this.

"Sure! I'll tell you all about Li-kun! Li-kun and Sakura-chan will make a very kawaii couple desu wa!!" Tomoyo exclaimed as she dragged her friend out of the school area.

"I'm very sure of that Tomoyo-chan, but can you please let go of my arm first?!"

"Li Xiao Lang, you have completed your training and the tasks that you have received. You are now hereby given the position as the new leader of the Li clan. Please come forth to receive your title and the responsibility as the leader of the clan." An elder of the Li clan said, his voice loud and clear for all to hear. Every member of the Li clan was present to attend this occasion.

Syaoran walked up toward him and bowed before he received his title. He wore a forest green Chinese robe alot like the one he normally wore. Only this one had silver embroideries of dragons on the gold trimmings of his sleeves.

"Do you have any wishes before you attend to your duties?"

"Yes, I have only one wish." Syaoran replied with his head lowered.

"We shall grant you this wish. Name it."

"I wish to return to Japan." Syaoran replied, with determination in his voice. Gasps erupted from the crowd but the elder only smiled and glanced at Syaoran's family and Meiling, who seemed to be the only ones in the room with grins on their faces.

"Very well. You may return to Japan." This time cheers erupted from a small group.

Everyone turned their gaze toward Syaoran's sisters and Meiling, who were jumping for joy and cheering for Syaoran.

After everyone left, Syaoran was teased and advised by his sisters including Meiling.

"Xiao Lang, when you get there don't forget to tell Sakura how you feel!" Fuutie teased.

"Yeah, you better not chicken out this time!" Meiling yelled.

"Or we'll go with you to Japan to make sure you tell her!" Everyone said in unison. Syaoran sweatdropped and took a step back.

"Xiao Lang, don't forget to bring her back next time." Syaoran's mother chimed in from behind the group.

"Yeah! We want to see her! Don't you dare come back to Hong Kong without her!" The group threatened. Syaoran made a hasty retreat and dashed to his bedroom, not forgetting to lock the door.

Syaoran sighed in relief. "That was close. I better start packing and take the next flight to Japan." He looked over to the picture on his bedside table and smiled.

Okay this came out really bad. ^^* And the names... They just popped up in my head while I was pacing back and forth in my room. Please review this! I need to know whether anyone wants me to continue this. Thank you very much!
