The days passed by rather quickly, everyone was busy getting ready for the play during the Christmas Festival. Sakura and Syaoran had to rehearse while Tomoyo made the costumes with pure enthusiasm. Minaka just sat nearby and watched them, grinning all the way. Syaoran would sometimes glance at his cousin and wonder.

'How does she get me into these things without me knowing until it's too late?!' As if she knew what he was thinking, Minaka just flashed him a grin.

Sometimes during rehearsals, Tomoyo and Minaka had trouble holding Syaoran back from trying to strangle Calvin, every time Calvin talks to Sakura and tries to ask her out. Normally Minaka had to cling onto Syaoran's arm just to keep him from going over there and was always glad when Sakura would kindly refuse or come up with an excuse. Minaka heaved a sigh and leaned into a chair from exhaustion and relief.

'Thank Kami-sama. I swear if any guy laid their eyes on Sakura, that guy is going to be very very sorry.' She thought as she sunk into her seat. 'But then again... Maybe I should let Syaoran kill Calvin. I never liked him. Come to think of it... I hate him!'

Two more days before the play...

"Syaoran, why not ask Sakura-chan to come along with us to your place and practice for the play?" Minaka questioned her cousin with a grin. It was almost time to go home but everyone was still in the auditorium.

"I... I don't think so." Syaoran replied with his head lowered. Suddenly Minaka turned her head and frowned at who she saw.

"No excuses. Now go! Quickly!" She ushered and pushed him toward Sakura, who was talking to Tomoyo.

"Ummm... S... Sakura-chan?" Syaoran said nervously.

"Hai, Syaoran-kun?"

"D... Do you want t... to-" Syaoran stammered. Minaka who was standing behind Syaoran, saw Calvin walking towards them. She panicked and quickly interrupted.

"Sakura-chan! Do you want to come with us to Syaoran's place to practice for the play?" Minaka finished for him. Tomoyo noticed that Minaka needed some help and smiled.

"Sakura-chan, why not we go? I can get to do the finishing touches on the costumes with Minaka's help!" Tomoyo answered and saw the look of gratitude on Minaka's face.

"Okay! Let's go!" Sakura agreed.

"Great. Come on, Syaoran!" Minaka said and dragged a gaping Syaoran through the doors. Minaka made sure they got out of the auditorium before Calvin could catch up with them.

At Syaoran's Apartment...

"Okay... Minaka, how did you do that?!" Syaoran eyed his cousin who was helping him in the kitchen to make drinks. Sakura and Tomoyo were in the living room, waiting for them.

"Do what?" Minaka asked innocently and placed four steaming cups of tea on a tray before turning to him and smiling brightly with her hands behind her back. Syaoran raised an eyebrow at her.

"You know what I mean." Syaoran accused, feeling rather annoyed.

"No, I don't." Minaka stated calmly, taking the tray off the table and walking to the living room.

"I give up. I can never get anything out of you." Syaoran drooped slightly and sighed in defeat. Minaka stopped dead in her tracks then she tilted her head and smiled in reassurance.

"I'm just doing my best to help you. Please tell her how you feel, okay?" Then she walked into the living room. Syaoran just stood there in shock.

'How does she know?' Syaoran shook his head and shrugged it off before he followed her. He watched lay the tray on the table and plopped herself on the couch next to Tomoyo.

"Tomoyo-chan, can I see the costumes?" Minaka asked enthusiastically.

"Sure, why not I show them to you in another room?" Tomoyo asked. Then she quickly added. "I don't want to disturb Sakura-chan and Li-kun."

"Yeah, we'll just go into the guest room. Ummm... Let's go Tomoyo-chan." Then both of them hurried into the guestroom before Sakura or Syaoran could protest. Both of them looked at each other then turned away, blushing a deep crimson.

"Ummmm... We better start practicing our lines now." Syaoran managed to say.

"H... Hai." Then they started rummaging for their scripts.

'Hoe! I can't believe Tomoyo-chan left me alone with Syaoran-kun!' Sakura thought trying not to look at Syaoran.

'Nani?! I can't believe Minaka left me alone with Sakura!'

Nearby, in a guestroom...

"Now we'll just have to hope they have the courage to tell each other." Tomoyo whispered to Minaka as they peered out at the two.

"Let's just hope." Minaka muttered. Then she closed her eyes tightly and prayed silently.

'Syaoran... Tell her how you feel...'

**************************

Syaoran was debating with himself on how he was going to tell Sakura. He felt fear grip him, the fear of rejection. While he was wondering on how he was going to say it, a voice in his head appeared.

'Syaoran... Tell her how you feel...'

Syaoran stiffened when he heard the voice in his head. It sounded alot like his cousin and the thought scared him a little.

'How did she do that?!' He thought. 'Never mind that! Just tell her for Kami's sake!' The voice yelled in an urgent tone. Syaoran froze when he heard her voice loud and clear in his head.

"Daijobu desu ka?" Sakura asked in concern. Syaoran snapped out of his reverie and stared at her for moment before answering.

"Daijobu desu." Sakura felt relieved slightly when she heard his answer.

'Minaka never tells me anything.' Syaoran sighed inwardly. 'I'm still here and tell Sakura already!' Minaka's voice said in frustration.

'Alright. Alright. Just stop doing that.' He said. 'Fine.' Minaka retorted. Syaoran drew in a deep breath and prepared for what he was going to say.

"S... Sakura?"

"Nani?"

"T.. There's something I w... want to t... tell you." He stammered, turning a very amusing shade of red. Sakura just stared at him waiting for him to continue.

"A... Aishiteru Sakura." Syaoran said lowly so that only Sakura could hear. Sakura's eyes widened in shock. She couldn't believe that her one and only wish had come true.

"N... Nani?" Sakura asked to make sure she wasn't dreaming.

"Aishiteru Sakura." Syaoran repeated. This time more loud and clear. His head drooped as he waited for her answer. Sakura wore a shocked expression but it left immediately and was replaced with a smile. Then she flung her arms around his neck, much to his surprise and whispered in his ear.

"Aishiteru Syaoran. Forever." Now it was Syaoran's turn to wear a shocked expression. He just couldn't believe that she had the same feelings for him. Syaoran was so happy, he hugged her tightly never wanting to let go.

'If this is a dream, I never want to wake up from it.' Both thought simultaneously.

In the room nearby...

"We did it!" Tomoyo and Minaka cheered and gave each other a hug.

"It was so kawaii desu wa!" Tomoyo said with starry eyes.

"Not to mention romantic too!" Minaka added with a grin. Then they looked at each other in the eye and yelled in unison.

"And we got it all on tape!"
