Trius Fernsler lives and works in Berkeley, California. He paints and draws in classical tradition using various traditional media, such as oil, pastel, ink, charcoal etc.

He studied classical painting in the Academy of Art, Repin Institute in St. Petersburg, Russia.

If you live in the Bay Area you might have seen him on the street with his easel or with a sketch pad at a café. So don't be surprised if you recognize yourself in one of his works.
