Elsie King Rodger
…recent arrival was Hubert Rodger’s bride from Minster Lovell, Oxford, England. She is 5 ft., 2 ½ inches in height, has auburn hair and pretty green-blue eyes. Her name was Elsie King and she left her family behind to join her husband in America. Her sister, who married a GI will come to the country in the near future and will reside in Idaho. The Hubert Rodgers’ will celebrate their first anniversary Sunday, May 26, which also happens to be Hubert’s fathers’ birthday anniversary.
