How to gain access to the results With a touch-tone telephone you can gain access to the sales results. Dial +44-171-321.3221 (South Kensington Sales) then follow the instructions to enter the sale code and lot numbers: it is easy, when you hear the voice you dial the four digits code followed by the hash key (#); then you dial the lot number followed by the hash key. Immediately you can have the sale price. Let us suppose you had a successful bid for 100 English sterlings. The final price is usually 100 (sale price)+15 (buyer's premium) + 2,62 (VAT on buyer's premium) = 117.62. Some lots are daggered: this means that VAT is payable at the prevailing standard rate (17.5%) by the buyer on the final bid price (hammer price), plus buyer's premium. In my opinion the classification for the lot 204 has been a bit generous, but I think that £138 for both the items has been a good price. As for the Exa I'm glad to see that the interest is growing! I wrote two or three e-mails to Michael Pritchard to know if the Stereflex (lot 75) was complete or not. He replied telling me there was only the prism, so I made a unsuccessful bid (£160). It has been a pity for the other accessories, but when you join a postal auction you are not there, so you cannot avoid that a £5 increase can make a bid the successful one. The pictures of the two cameras are inverted so where is the description of the pre-war 66 there is the photo of the post-war and vice-versa.
