was made from aluminium, later the arresting lever got an other shape

From Type 2 with additional outside bayonet flangesand a cut off
at one of the inner bayonet flanges. The reason was to prevent dark edges
by using telephoto lenses, Ihagee created the outside bayonet flanges

Exakta Varex IIb Type 2
Approximatively 1966 the arresting lever got an other simple shape
