PERHAPS MOVING CUSTOMS WOULD EASE BRIDGE DELAYS [FINAL Edition] Buffalo News -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Print Media Edition: Financial edition Buffalo, N.Y. This wouldn't solve all the problems, but it should at least alleviate the main problem and ensure that whatever bridge comes out of the process won't continue to serve as a parking lot. We should move Canadian Customs to the U.S. side of the bridge and U.S. Customs to the Canadian side of the bridge. Bridge traffic would then clear Customs prior to entering the bridge, and allow traffic to flow uninterrupted onto, over and off of the bridge in both directions. This might also minimize the need for a bigger bridge or at least alleviate the traffic delays while building a new one. DAVE BUTTERINI Buffalo
