JRR Tolkien

This is going to be my attempt at a fan site, though it certainly won't compare with all the ones that are already out there. But I am one of those quasi-purist Tolkien fans that can't quite reconcile myself to some of the changes Peter Jackson made to the story when he put together his movies. Don't get me wrong, I do love the movies, each to differing degrees. But I am a nitpicker at heart and I couldn't resist doing a nitpicking list for the films. I realize I am way behind as all three movies are out now, but the lists will be linked below as they are finished. Just bear in mind that they were put together after many viewings of the extended edition DVDs, including listening to all the commentaries and watching all the extras. Yes, I am that obsessive, and if you are, too, you should enjoy this.
