History of Skaki II (the sequel)

  • Now, as of March 6, 1997, Skaki is in the rebuilding stage. Due to previous experiences, though, this time it is going to be approached much differently. After having almost all the band kicked out because of a shortage of desire, there are only a few members left. Out of those who left were two trombonists, a trumpeter, three guitarists, and a fat saxist. Also another trumpeter switched completely to rhythm in' skillz and the keyboards. So surviving members include: Josh(guitar), Moose(violin), Mike(vocals & keyboards), and Anthony(bass) are starting something even better. In addition to that, an awesome trumpeter wants to join - in other words, he's in. All of us are searching for more brass - to capture the "ska" sound, but no luck has been found yet. Right now, there are four guitar tracks awaiting. These are going to be developed, one at a time, put together, and recorded before the mid-summer. Possible names are unknown, possible topics are unknown, however they are going to be put on some kind of record. In the following school year, Skaki - most likely under a different alias - will attempt to make a real live appearance(one of their first) at a Talent Show of sorts. That's all the history we got for now, see ya and remember to "KEEP THE PEACE!"
