BUSES IN BRAZIL AND CHILE: There are eight bus body manufacturers in Brazil (Marcopolo, Caio, Nielson, Ciferal, Thamco, Comil, Jotave and BGP) and six chassis factories (Mercedes Benz, Volvo, Scania,Volkswagen, Ford and Mafersa). Mercedes and Mafersa also produce complete buses. In Chile there are just bus-body factories. Their names are, in order of size and importance: Metalpar, Sport Wagon, Cuatro Ases ans Inrecar. The chassis is Mercedes-Benz OF-1620 ( 200HP) with front enfine. The original lenth of the chassis was 12 metres, bit it was re-sized at AIO and the bus's lenth is 13,20m.

Body maker: Marcopolo Body Model: Torino GVL bi articulated Chassis: Volvo B58E Operator: Carmo City: Curituba-PR This is the new version of the bi-articulated bus operating in Curitiba, the capital of the state Paraná, south of Brazil. There are 33 buses operating now. On the photos (by Marcopolo) you can see it with the doors open and the decks on boarding position, as they touch the tube shaped stations.
