Our Columbus Triumph

On April 14, 2000 The Derby City Tuba Quartet traveled to Columbus, Ohio to compete in the North American Brass Band Association Ensemble Division. The group performed the Quartet for Brass by Wilhem Ramsoe, arranged by Gary Buttery. Our judge was Colonel David Detrick, Commander of the West Point Millitary Academy Band. We are pleased to announce that the quartet won first prize out of all the fine small ensembles that competed.
