This was the first of three concerts at the NEC, just outside of Birmingham and was brilliant! They played the usual songs in the first part and during the encore Kasim sang the first verse of Honky Tonk Woman by himself again. He always seems to start of quietly but by the end is singing quite confidently! At this concert, when Meat Loaf called for the curtain to be dropped, only a third of it fell which he made a big joke of!
Kasim was wearing his long black coat, black trousers and a loose silver colored shirt which really suited him!
Meat loaf was brilliant but my daughter had bought the new album and wouldn't let me listen to it, so there were a few songs I didn't know. The effects were great and so was Kasim!!
We had such a great time that we decided to go again only there were no seats available at the N.E.C so instead we went to Sheffield on 2nd May.
