Set List

Concert Review by Donna Jacobs:

Tonight I noticed that the thunderstorm had died down to just one clap of thunder instead of a downpour so the show started about 5 mins before Meat came on, instead of the usual 15 mins.

When the band appeared Tom had dyed his hair back to its original black and took some getting used to after seeing him blond for so long. However this didn't affect his performance, he is absolutely blinding on the piano.

The acoustic set was longer than it has been for the past few shows and included Pearl singing "Mercedes Benz". Tonight's encore was All Revved Up, this ended another brilliant show with Meat telling us he would see us in the year 2000.

Concert Review by Linda Holmes:

This was the replacement concert for the first concert that was cancelled when Meat Loaf fell ill so he apologised for that on stage but he needn't have bothered as it was well worth the wait!

Unfortunately they did an encore of only one song, All Revved Up, which was a shame as I'd taken in my recorder to tape Kas's deep solo singing on Summertime Blues. Meat sang some wrong words in the first verse of All Revved Up so I could see Kas mouthing the correct words to him! Paradise is so much better now though as it's pure singing with no prolonged chatter.

During Is Nothing Sacred the dry ice machines seemed to have been switched up too high and at one point Meat all but disappeared (he was leaning over at that point) which Kas seemed to find really funny!
