Signs of Spring
The leaves are turning green again...The snows are disappear-
ing...And soon the spring will come again... With all its
charms endearing...The birds will sing their songs again...
And children will be playing... The flowers will be beautiful
... With petals gently swaying...And everywhere will be the
signs... That tell about this season... When maidens blush
and gentlemen...Are less inclined to reason... The moon will
grow romantic and ... The stars a little brighter... Young lips
will meet and gentle arms...Will squeeze a little tighter...
But husbands will remain the same... And they will know the
meaning... Of certain signs that indicate... The house will get
a cleaning.
