Vacationing

I like to be vacationing... About this time of year... When
usually the sun is warm...And all the skies are clear...To
load the car with what we need...And pile the children in...
And head for some inviting spot... Beyond the city's din...
Along a new though friendly road... That never seems to
end... And where the only message is... The postal card I send
...I like to swim and fish and live... The easy side of life...
And listen to the laughter of... The youngsters and my wife
...But when the holiday is done... I gather up my freight...
And all I want is just to rest... And to recuperate.
