PRIMARY TARGET - HUGO DRAX
STATUS - Just stepped outside for a few minutes

A megalomatic millionare, Drax (Michael Lonsdale) owns all of Drax industries. He is also known for trying to gain complete control of space. Although to the world he is a scientific genius, this mask hides the real egotistical mad side of Drax. His plans at world domination even turns his henchman, Jaws, against him, eventually leading to his defeat.

SECONDARY TARGET - JAWS
STATUS - Unknown(Survived, unlikely to be causing trouble)

He's baaaack! Richard Keil's character was so popular, he was written into the next movie, Moonraker. Once again, he is his invulnerable self, and his teeth haven't rusted over. In this movie, he is thrown from an airplane without a parachute, crashed through a building, and dropped over a waterfall. He eventually turns against Drax, though, when his plans would force the elimination of his girlfriend, (no joke!). He also helps Bond and Dr. Goodhead escape from Drax's space station.

ASSOCIATE - HOLLY GOODHEAD
STATUS - Unknown(Last seen being taken around the world)

A CIA agent with a Vasser education on loan from NASA to Drax, Holly (Lois Chiles) is really working for the CIA the whole time. Working seperatly from Bond, she always seems to end up where he is, and they finally decide to work together. Her training as an astronaut pays off when the two are forced into going into outer space to continue the fight against Drax.

    LITTLE KNOWN FACTS

  • 1. Drax' Venice laboratory has an electronic lock on it. The sequence which unlocks it is the hailing tune from Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
  • 2. Despite the previous 007 film telling us that For Your Eyes Only would be next, producer Broccoli chose Moonraker as the next movie after the success of Star Wars.
  • 3. The role of Drax was originally offered to James Mason.
  • 4. Lois Chiles had originally been offered the role of Anya in The Spy Who Loved Me, but turned it down in favor of a temporary retirement. She received the role of Holly Goodhead after she happened to sit next to Lewis Gilbert on a flight.
  • 5. According to the ending credits, part of this movie was shot in outer space. (Someone e-mail me about this.)
