OCTOPUSSY

Eon Productions 1983
Directed by: John Glen
Produced by: Albert Broccoli
Running time: 130 minutes (2 hrs, 10 min)

Mission Date: 06-10-83
Mission Objectives: Discover who is putting Fabrege eggs on the auction block and why.
Mission Status: Learned Fabrege egg scheme was only the tip of the iceberg. All part of an elaborate jewel smuggling ring topped off with a nuclear bomb set to blow up a U.S. Military base in West Germany.

PRIMARY TARGET - KAMAL KHAN
STATUS - Flotation device doesn't work on a ground crash...

A smuggler with Soviet connections, Khan (Louis Jourdan) tries to blow up a U.S. Air Force base in West Germany along with double-crossing his partner, Octopussy, in a jewel smuggling ring which includes Fabrege eggs and other rare pieces. More than once he tried to kill Bond, but all times met with success. Not even his house, a seemingly inpenetrable fortress, could not hold 007. If only it had...

SECONDARY TARGET - GOBINDA
STATUS - Dropped out of the picture

Khan's right hand, (along with his left), Gobinda (Kabir Bedi) could stare through a brick wall. He is also 100% loyal to Khan. He would go out on a limb for Khan, and he did, when Khan told him to go onto the roof of his plane to knock Bond off. Of course, that led to his (very long) downfall.

SECONDARY TARGET - GENERAL ORLOV
STATUS - Fired from office rather abruptly

A high ranking Russian general, Orlov (Steven Berkoff) is Khan's real partner in the plot to blow up the U.S. base. His obsession with conquest led to this plot, and he doesn't want the other Russian officials to bargain away the advantage his armys have. He was gunned down in West Germany thinking he'd be a hero.

ASSOCIATE - OCTOPUSSY
STATUS - Unknown(Last seen sailing with 007)

A professional smuggler and head of the Octopus Cult, Octopussy (Maud Adams) uses her circus as cover in this plot. She thinks that all this plot is, though, is the smuggling, and has no knowledge of the true plan to blow up the base. Once she learns about it, she wanted to get revenge on Khan, but gets captured in the process. She also has a certain fondness for Bond because of what he did to her father.
