Clicking on a Link and returning to W.W.W.
This process is easier than you may expect. The easiest thing to do is to click on your browser's "Back" button until you return to the most recently visited W.W.W. page. On almost all our pages we now have "Previous" button which takes you to the last or Previous you where on in W.W.W., and a
button which takes you to our first page.
Quick Tip: From older W.W.W. pages clicking on a Link may take you to a site that doesn't allow you to return to W.W.W. using the "Back" button. The sponsor's site, for example, may be frames-based and will not allow for navigation prior to the first page.
In this case, simply select Go from the browser main menu, find the most recent instance of a W.W.W. page (nearest to the top of the Go list), select it, and you will return to the page you originally left.Clicking on a Link during Compose or Attach File. In fact, there is little danger of losing data by clicking on a banner, viewing a page, and hitting the "back" button as often as needed to regain your place.
What you do need to be careful about is going out 10 or 20 Web pages and then attempting to return. While this too shouldn't be a problem, there is the chance that your browser will become decoupled from W.W.W.. This will require to log back in, and thus interrupt the compose or file attachment you had been attempting.
On our newer pages we make it simple... just close the window and you will be back where you were when you left W.W.W.
