In this picture you can see some children anxiously filling up their big squirts. Many people have asked me what exactly is a big squirt? Here is a picture for all to see. Big squirts come in a wide variety of colors and can be lots of fun when used properly. You should not squirt staff members or people who do not want to be squirted though. As for myself I don't mind being squirted as long as it is not in my face. I have been squirted by many guests and even some of the staff members.

There are a few fill up stations around the park where you can fill up the big squirt. One warning the water in the filling station is much colder than all other water in the park. It really feels good to be squirted on some of those very hot days. A big squirt is like a balloon. When you fill it up it grows. When the water is all gone it shrinks and you need to refill. There is a special cap you use to fill it up. In the background of this picture you can see a rather nice view of the tube slide which is blue

One of the unique products at Deep River Waterpark which I have trouble explaining is Dippin Dots. It is also known as ice cream of the future. In this picture you see a guest ready to purchase some dipping dots. They are little pellets and very cold. They are not ice pellets though. This particular person is having chocolate. It is set on the counter top. Dippin Dots are very good. I highly recommend that you try them before you leave Deep River Waterpark. It is one of the few places that you can actually get Dippin Dots.

One of the nice things about Dippin Dots is that they are not as messy as some ice cream which melts quickly and you don't want to have in your car. Dippin Dots you can take along for the road trip home and you won't have to worry about any mess. In fact in the past the dippin dot cart has been right by the exit so it is very convenient to purchase dippin dots right before you exit the park. For those of you that can see very well you can see that the flavors of Dippin Dots are chocolate, vanilla, bannana split, and rainbow ice. For those of you that know me I am sure you could guess that plain vanilla is my favorite. On a hot day there is nothing better than the ice cream of the future Dippin Dots.
