In this picture you can see Paddles playland. If you are young or old there is something for you to do at Deep River Waterpark. This is the section for those youngsters. As you can see there is plenty of water shooting around for the youngsters to play in and they even have their own little slides which most youn children seem to really enjoy. On most days there will be 2 lifeguards in the kiddie area. One will be stationed at the top and the other watches the water below.
At the entrance of Paddles playland you will see a sign of the parks mascot Paddles T. Otter. Not pictures of Paddles are currently available you will have to wait until 1998 or visit the park yourself. You often will see Paddles walking around the park and many days he will even talk to you. He and I share the same middle initial. Anyway you must be below a certain height in order to play in Paddles playland. You will never see me in the wavepool or in this area. I will always be a kid at heart. Your kids will enjoy the playland I am sure. So if you have youngsters be sure to bring them to Indiana's Premier Waterpark Deep River Watepark. Your kids will have a splash and so will you.
In this picture you can see the family pool. This water is very shallow and gets deeper as you enter the lazy river. It is another particular fun place for children of all ages. In this picture you can see water coming down from the mushrooms. The water from there is usually colder than the water in the river. This picture was taken in 1996 and if you look closely you can see your host Mark T. Camarena under neath one of the mushrooms. In my opinion this is the best place to enter the lazy river since you can wait in the water. Sometimes it is nice just to be in the water and for me this is the best place to be
