Turning and going out the main entrance, you follow Dreamsmythe's suggestion and turn left to find the stables...

After a few minutes of walking, you come across another entrance into the side of the mountain. Patch, who has been following, enters without hesitation. You can hear the horses inside wickering in greeting. 'This must be the stables,' you think.

Entering the stables, you are once again astonished. You had expected to find a gloomy and dark hole in the wall, but the stables are airy and filled with light. Looking up, you can see why... There are covered skylights at the top of the circular cavern! On either side of the entrance you can see stalls carved into the stone. The name signs on the two on the right read Ghost and Sasha; the two on the left read Pennyspot and Duskshadow...

Carved into the far wall are two other doors. Inside one, you find the tackroom. Saddles, bridles, blankets, soap, shampoo... just about anything you would need for a ride and clean up afterward. Turning to look at the horses, you realize that you haven't heard them since they greeted Patch. And you haven't seen him in a while either. "Where did they go?" you wonder aloud, turning to look out the other door. And there is your answer...

Outside, you can see a natural formed closed cavern. And there are the horses, playing in the meadow by the stream...
