American Diabetic Association's Consumer Nutrition Information Hotline: (800) 366-1655 Call anytime to hear timely food and nutritious messages recorded by registered dietitians. Dietitian referrals are available Monday - Friday 9:00am 4:00 pm Central Time and on their Web site: www.eatright.org.

Butterball Turkey Talk Line: (800) 323-4848 Great for questions about thawing, preparing, carving and storing turkey and leftovers. Web site: www.butterball.com Lines are open November and December, for information year round call (800)BUTERBALL.

Fleischman's Yeast Baker's Help Line: (800)777-4959. For yeast baking questions only. Lines open 8:00am to 6:00 pm Central Standard Time, 365 days a year, including holidays. Visit their Web site www.breadworld.com for recipes and information.

Foster Farms Consumer Helpline: (800) 255-7227 Open Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Pacific Time except holidays. Live representatives and voice mail. Answers available for a variety of cooking questions. Special Turkey Holiday help with live operators available 24 hours a day starting the week before after Thanksgiving, including Thanksgiving Day. General Mills: (888) ASK-BETTY Company Employees fully trained in Betty Crocker products offer new recipe ideas. Open all year 7:30 am to 5:30 pm Central Time except holidays.

Land O' Lakes Holiday Bakeline: (800) 782-9606 Home economist and baking experts find recipes and answer baking questions. Callers receive a free copy of holiday recipes "Share the Secrets".  Lines open 9:00 am to 9:00 pm Central Time  from November 1 to December 24.
