Hi everyone and welcome to my doll page. Thanks to anyone who has visited this page more than once. I know it took a long time for me to get it going, but now that it's here, I'll try to update it more often. First, why do I collect? Well, I collect because it's fun! It's like a treasure hunt to search for a doll for a long time and then to finally find her. Also, it gives me a chance to get some of the dolls I wanted as a kid and never had the chance to get. (my parents were always mean and NEVER gave me ANYTHING that I really wanted) :P Seriously though, I do it because it's fun and I like watching my collection grow. However, if you don't collect anything and can't understand why anyone would want to, I don't know how to explain it to you. I think it's one of those things you just have to know, or maybe you'll never get it. Sandro, a friend of mine, and I were discussing this one day and he said, "If people don't get it on their own, they probably never will because you cannot explain a passion." I thought that was a good way of putting it. Second, what do I collect? Right now I mostly interested in Strawberry Shortcake and Madame Alexander. I also have two Ginnys that belonged to my sister and I when we were little, and I'd like to get some more of them. I've finally got these pages up, so please feel free to stay as long as you like, and if you know of anything I could do to improve my doll site or you want to buy or sell something, let me know.
