RECIPES FOR FUN!!!
What is there to do on a rainy day? I'm bored. The Cub-Scouts are coming and I have nothing new for them to do. There is nothing on tv except the same old thing.---How many of you have heard this, or even said it? I know I have.
Sometimes I wish I could recapture my childhood and just be able to play and have fun, get dirty, and feel good about something I made from nothing. Instead of waxing nostaligic about it I sometimes use these recipes for fun and do that very thing.
Try it you might like it.

Homemade Play-Doh Recipe
Measure and mix together in a large bowl: 2 1/2 cups flour, 1/2 cup salt, 1 Tbsp. alum, 2 pkgs. unsweetened Kool-Aid. Add 2 cups of boiling water and 3 Tbsps vegetable oil to the dry ingredients. Add several drops of food coloring if more vivid colors are desired. Knead mixture together until very well-mixed and the consistencey of play-doh. Let cool. Store in ocvered plastic container in refrigerator when not in use. Different flavors of Kool-Aid will make different colors of clay and give your play-doh a great scent.
