Look inside what do you see?
The shattered glass reflects my soul.
You're just a twisted image of me.
You and I, we make a whole.
How did you corrupt my mind?
With those accusations that you make.
As I think about them I find,
Letting you in was one big mistake.
I blame you for all my problems,
You try to make me see
That who is responsible for my life
Has always been, only me.
You are the one that's there
For me to place my burdens on
The little voice inside my head
Which I can put my shame on.
I bear my soul to you,
And yet you just don't listen
Those basic truths you show me
In the crystal clear night they glisten.
What you say just hurts too much
I question my own sanity.
You are impossible to ignore
I've learned to hate humanity.
You are my sins and my dreams.
You guide me through a thousand furors
And yet I have no name for you
Except perhaps, the girl in the mirror
