If Roses grow in Heaven,
Lord please pick a bunch for me,
Place them in my mothers arms
and tell her they're from me.
Tell her i love her and miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek
and hold her for awhile.
Remembering her is easy,
I do it every day,
but there's an ache within my heart
that will never go away.
God saw you getting tired,
When a cure was not to be.
So,he wrapped his arms around you,
and whispered"Come To Me"
You didn't deserve what you went through,
So he gave you rest.
God's garden must be beautiful,
He only takes the best
And when i saw you sleeping,
So peaceful and free from pain
I could not wish you back
To suffer that again!
My mom was 73 years old when she passed away,
She enjoyed playing bingo,scratching her bingo tickets,
she enjoyed visiting and having her cup a tea,
and just chatting,she loved the company of others.
My mom raised 8 children on her own,since my dad
passed away in 1966...She sure did a great job!!
There's not a day that goes by that i don't think
about my mother...she always visited me every day,
for her cup of tea and chat.
I love and miss you "Mom"
