I hesitated to do a review of this since it was a 1995 romance, but I enjoyed it so much that I just had to share it with you. I found it at the Half Price Book Store, so that would be the likely place to look for it. Possibly one of the on-line book stores could get it for you.

Tory Caswell owns an advertising agency. She has just gotten through her sister's wedding and is taking a few days of for rest and relaxation. Waking up to a stranger sleeping in bed beside her is not on her agenda.

Rand Trent can't believe where he is or how he managed to get there. He is in his hotel room alright, but the beauty he woke up next to claims it's 1995, not the 1800's like he knows it is.

Emma, a hotel maid, has many plans to keep Tory and Rand together. Part of which consists of rectifying the situation of Angelina's ghost. Emma was to guard and protect her those many years ago, but her watchful eye wasn't good enough and Angelina drowned. As a result, her ghost, unable to rest, wanders aimlessly through the hotel haunting guests who are staying there for weddings. Usually only the brides are haunted.

Once Rand is convinced that it is indeed 1995, he sets out to find a way back to his own time. Tory assists him in this adventure guiding him in this strange new world.

When the time comes for Rand to return to his own time, he wants Tory to go with him. She refuses, not wanting to give up her business nor her independence. "Unfortunately," a slip leads her back into time with Rand.

Emma has only one more trip through the time warp and she will use it only after Rand and Tory absolve the unrest that has enveloped Angelina the ghost. They must watch her every minute and prevent her from drowning.

This story is filled with ghosts, time travel, and lead characters whose love for each other go deeper than the words written on the pages in their book.
