Mallory Edwards and John Barron exchange wedding vows in order for Mallory to keep her family estate. Meeting each other for the first time on their wedding day definitely puts in a crimp on their wedding night and Mallory's mother decides to "help" her daughter by drugging her wine with a sleeping potion.
